My prediction is My Blunt over Kessler in the finals.
Both ladies are at +110 tonight. Bank it.

@Uman
Yeah I noticed some movement on draftkings but it doesn't bother me.
Now on I see Kessler at 125 on draftkings and Joint at 120.
On FanDuel both were at 114 this morning and now they're 114 & 118 so not much movement there.
I would expect public money coming in on Mertens because she has a really good record here (18-3) and then there's the name recognition factor with her playing against someone many casual fans have never heard of.
Despite her previous success at Hobart, Elise don't run this Joint no mo

It's remarkable that Joint was about to start her second semester and begin her collegiate career with the Longhorns but she leaves for Christmas break and suddenly announces she's going to skip college and turn pro instead. Maybe she didn't get the NIL deal she was hoping for lol.
Then she shows up here in her father's homeland and beats world #53, #38, and the former #4, all in straight set, dropping 11 games COMBINED across 3 matches.
Her coming out party.
Also I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly she refused her six-figure US Open paycheck to retain her collegiate eligibility.

@bringit
I did take Joint this early morning after her recent performances myself...but I bet it lighter than yesterday...I did think Mertens would put up a fight but not such
a dis-Jointed beat down in 2 quick sets...looks like the journey woman really wants this title...Kessler vs Mertens...who wins?...odds say the 29 year old Belgium POPTART...
