I can tell you now that Tomic is older than what is listed. Was talking with a bloke last year who played junior tennis with Tomic and mentioned how he falsified his age in order to get a better crack on the world stage.
He's 3 years older than what's actually listed and that means he has a better chance at staying in the top 100 for longer.
It doesn't take anything away from his talent but it's definitely something many other sports stars do in order to gain an advantage.

How much less fun would covers be without these smileys I think that is half the reason this forum is so much fun,, I wonder what gridiron's next predictions will be after a his great prediction novak would dip after a historic year, I am sure he predicted the world would not end as the Mayans said,,, whats next from this genius foreshadower

Djoko had just come off the most dominant year EVER with his 2011 showing, then won the Aussie 2012, yet I STILL had the foresight to say that he would drop considerably, not drop a little, but considerably.
Novak 0 for 3 in the last 3 slams in terms hoisting the 1st place trophy, ALL occurring after my post,

You're are not giving enough credit to the rise of Murray under Lendl and Rogers awesome year. Roger won Wimby on an INDOOR court. Nadal got lucky it rained at the French. And the Open final was awesome. Sure, obviously joker had to drop a little off his 2011 form, but clearly Murray and Fed were wayyy better last year than in '11

Pie, roger did not make the finals at aussie, the french, nor us open. He played very well at wimbledon, and yes the roof is closed, and when that happens doesn't the ball play faster making it more like a hard court at wimbledon? djoker is supposedly the best hardcourter in the world yet rafa took him 5 tough tough sets in melbourne, then roger smashes him with the roof closed at wimbledon, and murray beats him for his 1st slam??
murray rose up but a nearly 31 yr old roger smacks him down at the wimbledon final, but andy gets his FIRST SLAM on a hardcourt against the best hardcourter in the world????
come on man.
trust me i was in this forum all of 2011 and through the aussie open 2012 and 90%, i am serious NINETY FUKKING PERCENT of the posters in here thought Djoko was gona run away with tennis in 2012 coming off 2011 and NEVER look back.

First off- closed roof on grass court does not play anything like a hard court lol. If anything, it plays like carpet which gives a HUGE advantage to great servers like Fed. Fed did not smash him either. Joker is not by any means a great grass courter. In fact, it's his worst surface and Fed's best. Olympics was also on grass so that is kinda moot as well. Also, Aussie open is a very SLOW hardcourt which gives a huge advantage to Nadal in that matchup. Not sure how much you know about tennis and the different surfaces but these are two incidents you are completely wrong on.
Murray's best surface is also hardcourts and is the second best hard court player on tour. So joker losing to him in 5 sets is far from anything of a huge upset.
I'm not saying joker will get more than ten slams but you're way off on his results from last year. He will still be the fav in every tournament he plays this year. And the only guys that can beat him in a major are Murray and Fed. (Rafa)

i know that the aussie is a slower hard court but its still a hard court.
go watch the semis at wimbledon again, roger absolutely shredded djoko in those 4 sets, shredded him.
djoko can be the fave again in 2013 in all the tourneys just like was in 2012 as he was fave in all the tourneys but only won one final,
being fave doesn't matter, it's how many you win. he's closer to age 26 than 25 now and he had better get moving if he wants to finish in the rarified air of fed, sampras, laver, nadal, emerson, etc
