She could definitely be on her way. She should be able to play doubles for at least another decade, well after her singles career ends (assuming she wants to). I mean, I don't follow men's much but who has even heard of Sem Verbeek before this tournament? Apparently he started begging her to play with him at the Aussie open. I think he referred to her as a legend or something like that during the trophy ceremony.

Tough to argue against Navratilova at this point though. But the only players in the mix for best this century are likely the Williams sisters, but you could also argue they wouldn't be as effective without the sisterhood partnership and playing together their whole lives.

Siniakova will likely finish 2025 as year-end #1 for the 6th time and the 5th time in 6 years. The only year she didn't finish #1 since 2021 was mostly due to Barb's injury issues which is why she moved on from that partnership. Also one of 7 women with the career Golden slam in doubles.
