I thought she played a really good tactical, grinding match in their only meeting on hard in Romania. OO 5-7 over the past two years on hard while wgomel's girlfriend the Sherif is 2-11.

This is a 500 level tournament with a thin field that the Mayer could gain direct entry to after her recent run of form. Let's be real, good chance that primary goal for this trip to Mexico is to pick up that check before heading to New York to pick up another check. She also retired in her last match.
