 When Sram really gets going I typically ride until the wheels fall off. Arango will have the crowd behind her I'm sure and she has a nice win streak going in Mexico. But her draw here has been super lucky getting to face lucky loser out of form Carle on back to back days and then benefitted from Fran's retirement yesterday late in the third set.

Somehow on Draftkings Sramkova was 80 to 1 to win this tournament. And there were many questionable players with much lower odds. She's 6 to 1 now.

So now we've got a 500 semifinal match featuring Arango and Saville. Makes the Sramkova loss hurt worse. Arango could possibly pull the Mexican double. She can definitely make the finals and once there anything can happen. And as good as Navarro is she is also capable of losing to just about anybody on tour on a bad day. I think she only has one title, a 250.
