2-1 night last night...disappointing effort from Travers...1 of 12 on break points

Not seeing much I like thus far.... Fish vs. Robredo should be interesting...especially with the news on Mardy's health

Couple matches I am tracking:

1. Fish vs. Robredo

2. Monaco vs. Haase

Monaco and Fish started off as favorites...but the lines are moving and now Haase is a -115 favorite and now I am seeing Robredo -110.

Will be curious of where they go from here

fish opened at more than a slight fav......he was -188 in fact

now robredo is -125!!!!!!!!

Am going with Niculescu/Pironkova over 21  (+114)

Two players that are pretty even in my opinion.

Monica comes in off of a smashing of the tub of lard known as Timea Bacsinszky.

Pironkova comes off a win over Parmentier.

Am hoping this is a three set match...but a tiebreaker would give me a decent chance too.

Sims,  I knew Monica's style was uncomfortable for most which is why I selected the over. I was puzzled on why Pironkova didn't start coming to net. Monica was just hitting slice forehands. If Pironkova would have just started hitting forehands and ghosting to net she would have had alot of easy volley's.

The disappointing thing is I liked Monica in the match with the linemovement but didn't play it. Didn't think she could win it in two so I thought my over bet was prett much a Monica bet...how wrong I was.

Believe my record now is 2-4 at the AO...been very disappointing thus far

Bojana has been in the best form of probably any player on the WTA tour.  She comes into this match white hot and certainly has a shot to win this outright. Normally I would consider taking her outright but since the juice is pretty low on the +6.5 this will be a bigger than usual play for me.

Vera is certainly capable of blowing her off the court if she is on...Vera is a very solid player when she is confident and playing well...but mad Vera is only a bad shot or call away from making an apperance...and if she shows up at any point I like my chances.

Bojana +6.5  bet of the tourney for me

Are a couple other plays I like but have decided not to pull the trigger... am putting all of my eggs in the Jova basket... normally my wagers are 1 unit wagers or to win 1 unit .... am going 5 on tonights play

I have seen that the Vera moneyline has dropped and the games line is now +6.... hope thats a good sign.

I watched portions of the Almagro match...he was totally getting robbed on some calls in that match...but it also showed how volatile he is.  Nico is capable of brilliant tennis or brutal tennis depending on his mind set.

Ljuby is a solid veteran who is normally always cool and composed. He has a solid serve and forehand... where Almagro has the advantage is in movement. If Nico can get Ljuby moving he can and will probably wear him down over the long haul.

But as always its hard to back Nico...because if he losese his head he typically loses the match.

I thought about Garcia MP... Morita isn't much but I honestly don't know much about Garcia. Do you know more about her?

Don't think I can back Tsurenko... Makarova and cheese has the weapons to beat her quickly. Plus I don't put much stock into beating Patty Schnyder these days on hards.
