 I think it's a toss-up, gun to my head i'd take Etcheverry since Cobolli retired a week ago after 3 games in the 1st set...can't trust his health.  

normally i'd be looking at a 'total games' side for this matchup but again, Cobolli's health is a question mark

Hell of a 2nd set by Lajovic, Kecmanovic didn't play poorly Lajovic was moving like Nadal

ugh Tien blows the 1st set.....he looks awful

I think he lacks of experience in big stages. In contrast, Ugo plays very solid in baseline. I think this match could go distance

Altmaier has given up, not even taking the match serious anymore  

Altmaier barely covers, need Fonseca to come out strong and not have a let down after dominating Rublev .  Sonengo is like Bublik-lite, he either comes out and lays an egg or plays like a top 10 

at 39 it's unbelievable what Monfils is doing to begin the year, he looked like he was about to puke late in that 3rd set

Shapo Mussetti started off great, but would have been a lock if they had split those tiebreaks, instead Shapo loses both and falls apart down 2 sets. 

fFonseca kinda looks and act like sinner.  

Nishikori was a terrorist. He obviously struggled physically and let Paul make him running around like a puppet. I thought Kei has had a good preparation for the slam but I think with his current condition it looks impossible for him to have a deep run in any slam. Just bad read this one.

Marozsan/Tiafoe 

I hate that only one of us will win as am in the opposite side but I found Fabian difficult to keep the match competitively as the match goes long. 

Rough day so far.
