I think Hunter and Siniakova should be favorite in this one, they will have the crowed on their side and not 100% feeling Mertens, to many ups and down. Siniakova will have a lot of confidence beating her former partner Krejcikova who always was seen as the strongest one of the two. 

Kichenok L. / Ostapenko J have won 8 straight games, can't fade them now, Ostapenko looking for her second grand slam.

Dabrowski / Routliffe just started to play together last year! Which is crazy, they had only played 7 games together before US Open that they won. Did very well in the Finals as well, reached the semi. But haven't been as good this year, I think all the moment they had last year is gone. Lost the 1st round in  Adelaide and haven't been that convincing this week in any match.

To think about regards Djokovic - Sinner. 

Djokovic have only covered his spread in 2 matches of his last 10 (!) Mannarino who had just played three 5 sets matches back to back and Lehecka J. (Lehecka won a set that match but didn't cover the spread)

Sinner +4.5 is the safe play, Djokovic didn't have a single break chance De Minaur A. in United Cup. 

Sinner has 10 straight wins and 21-1, haven't lost a set in his last 8 matches in a row, Djokovic have struggle to cover against mid player and lost 3 games in his last 10.

Can't believe they blow the double semi! Up 4-0 in the first lost 5-7 (25!! Unforced errors in that set) wins the second set 6-1 and have 6 breakballs in the 3rd set, didn't win a single one and Mertens and co only had one breakball that they won. 

We move on, Sabalenka saved the day with her big win

 ?? I didn’t take into account how well Sinner had been playing and lost. Made some back w the over on Medvedev . He”s one tough player and I’m sure he’s tired of losing slams 1-3  but it seems like this is Sinners moment , same with Sabalenka.
