Well there are many options here as i was thinking about this same thing last night.. It just depends how much of a risk you are willing to take.. like u stated if u place a bet and it is a loss then you are basically back to square 1
You could take the profit and start over
You could take the profit and start back over at round 2.. In your case you can take the $41.26 then have 6 wagers of $16.66
You can let it ride... if you win 2 of your 4 remaining you are back to a $40 profit
You could leave a wager at round 3 then divide the other 3 wagers back to round 2.. So you would have 40.42(just took the largest figure) at round 3.. then at round 2 you would have 6 remaining wagers at $16.8
Sorry to make you really think about this.. haha.. but hopefully after tonight i will be in your exact spot with 4 wagers at round 3

I've been playing this system as well, it's a lot of fun. I'm not a good capper so it's a fun way to make my own picks with not a lot at stake. I use $20 and $2 starting line. In my first try I'm down to plays for the 3rd line I'm going to let them ride and see what happens.

When i first started this my goal was to double my initial $100 and after round 3 I have not yet accomplished my goal. However i have made a nice profit. I will not move onto round 4. I am going to take my $170 and try this out again, however this time I am going to start with nine $10 wagers at round 1 and 4 $20 wagers at round 2. Once again my goal is to double my initial start amount in this case it will be from $170 into $340
