What Do you think about this?????

Ok this is something that i have tried once before and i turned $100 into $404.41(not posted). If my math is correct, anyway it was around that figure.  I dont know if it happened to be beginners luck or if i stumbled upon something, but i am going to give it another shot. 

Hopefully i can expain this where it will make sense

 

Basically divide the starting $100 into ten $10 wagers

now after the ten $10 wagers are made which ever wagers were won that $10 wager becomes a $10 + whatever the the payout for that wager was

A $10 wager at -110 has a payout of $9.09 so the wager would now become $19.09

A bet that result is a loss has no further action

REMINDER

All ten of the initial $10 wagers will be made before any of the next total amounts that will be wagered

Same with the future rounds

For Example:

Lets say after the first round of $10 wagers our record is 6-4. 

Basically now the whole strategy is started over with 6 wagers that are going to be the $10 wager plus whatever the payout was

So now we would have six wagers of $19.09 (initial bet being -110) with a payout of $17.35

then the next round of wagers at -110 would be $36.44 with a payout of $33.14

The next round at -110 would be $69.57 with a payout of $63.25

Pending on how much of a risk you are willing to take you can keep going and press your luck, or you can take your winnings and run and start this over

Another side note

All wagers will be a risk amount not a win amount so you will never exceed your initial $100

Intriguing. A potential drawback might be finding 10 games of value everyday unless you can spread out the 10 bets over a couple of days if your book releases lines a day early. Might be easier to find 5 games a $10 per, or go 5 games at $20

I think this experiment has merit and I would like to give it a whirl. Thanks for sharing this.

The wagers do not have to be on the same day. I think forcing action in this stategy wouldnt get us very far

And of course you do not have to start with $100. And as you pointed out you dont have to use 10 wagers either

The first time I did this i had three wagers remaining

$74.72

$69.57

$69.57

So I figured that i would continue since if i lost one of the wagers that i would stop and i would still be up

So i wagered the $74.72 and I won so that turned into $142.27 so hitting that one changed my thinking

now if i lose both of my remaining wagers i would still be up so i bet the remaining two wagers i had I won one and lost one so now i had two wagers remaining

$142.27

$132.82

so i said what the heck ill let this roll i wagered the $142.27 and won turning that into $271.59

so i had $271.59 and $132.82 which is where i stopped but im ready to try my luck again

I would like to see an addition to this where you periodically take some of your profits. In your initial trial you turned $100 into $400.  Consider banking $200 (your initial stake and and 100% profit). You could continue the strategy with the other $200 until you hit $400 again and bank another $200.

It looks great when you hit 60% in the first round and beyond.  Say you hit 40% first round, not so good then....

Interesting variation of "chipping up" when you are on a winning run,or more like parlaying after each win.   I like this approach you've come up with as long as you are picking say 57%+ winners, but I would be a little more conservative and take some winnings off the table maybe after round 2?  I don't know, but I agree with dufresne, so that if you have a bad run in round 3 or later, at least you don't crash and burn the whole enchilada.  Hope you will post here if you decide to go thru with it. Thank You everyone for your input you have all made valid points.   Also as what happened in the first time that i had tried this one win or loss can completely change the whole strategy, so I think that as you are in the middle of a round of wagers adjustments will be made so you dont crash and burn

Ill use these as examples (using whole numbers to make it easy)

case 1

only 3 bets remaining at round 3  $35 x 3 = $105 i think in this case it would be smart to just start over with the original ten $10 wagers

case 2

only 4 wagers remaining at round 3 $35 x 4 = $140

say you win wager 1  now that $35 is $70 you now have 3 more $35 wagers but lose the next two wagers now you have $70 and $35. Once again i think that you would have to stop here and start over with the original $10 wagers

IMPORTANT!!!

I Think in the later rounds is crucial that you only have wagers on one game at a time. So if you do need to stop in the middle of a round you are not tied up

What would be your recommendation about the assignments bets at round 2?.

Let me explain: All your round 1 wagers had 1.909 line, so the amounts for all your round 2 wagers will be the same (19.09). So, in my case, the bets lines are differents, then my round 2 wagers mounts will be differents (between 17.09 - 20.4).

So, what criteria I must to follow in order to choose my round 2 wager? The lowest line would have the biggest bet? Confidence in the pick? Randomly?

What do you think about that?

I think in this case in round 2 i would make wagers based on confidence or even random... Future rounds I may have a little more strategy involved in placing wagers.
