YTD UNIT CORRECTION: we started the last chase with 14.3 units.  We lost 2 units in GAME 1 (two even dogs).  We lost another 2 units in GAME 2.  We won 5.19 units in GAME 3 for a total of +15.49 UNITS.



The unit count could have been better if we only bet one of the two (even) dogs to start the series...or if they would have just both won .  Not really sure how to handle that moving forward, or if we'll ever see it again.

I actually like NJ a lot at +165, they are showing strength and have won 3 (road games) out of their L10 games - as under dogs.  BOSTON has won their L5 in a row...good spot for them to lose straight up to a hungry Devil squad.

Great thread. I have been thinking of betting against Columbus as a martingale (3-13 record) for the rest of the season.  But review your bets placed in this thread, Columbus has been involved in all your D, E bets; and i think that if you filtered them out and took the next biggest dog those high bets would have been eliminated. I'm pretty sure of this. Double check me.  Columbus is the Filter.

Hate to get off topic here, but what do you think about waiting for Columbus to lose 4 or 5 straight and then chase them to win?

 

Nevermind. Just looked, and it looks like they opened the season with a 8 game losing streak which means a chase busting 10-12 game losing streak isn't out of the question for this team.

@rouge... be careful w Columbus, they have had suspensions and injuries to deal with early on, and are finally getting back to full strength...although they still aren't a very good team regardless...remember New Jersey last year?...teams can change identities throughout the course of a season...we have actually played 2 out of their 3 wins this year, haha  (Disclaimer I am a CBJ fan )
