This is a really interesting thread cause its just so random how these home teams that are playing primetime cover the half spread in a 4 half chase an extreme majority of the time. Is it crazy to think that this could work regardless if games are televised in primetime?
Example: Picking a random game at 7:00 and a random game at 9:30 chasing the home team to cover the spread? Or Day game to a night game?

Most of the time I try to make an educated guess before the next game starts. Many times I can estimate if it will or will not cover. When I play the "C" bet on the second game's 1st half and it turns out that the first game ended up as a winner, I hope that going ahead works out. Maybe not the best way of doing it but I try to keep my unit size low.

Dallas there is no right or wrong move in that situation. You have to make a judgement call. I waited as long as I possibly could and wagered enough to recover half of my first two bets if Providence ended up losing.
Needless to say I am a happy man as it worked out in my favor tonight. If Valpo had not of covered the first half of the second game yes, I would have bet the second half.
If you are going to utilize this system you are going to be presented with this problem more than once during upcoming basketball season. Once again, simply put you have to make a judgement call and live with it.

In the case of a situation like tonight where the 2nd game starts before the first is finished, just wait out the 1st game. For the most part you either win in the 2nd part of the 1st or miss out on a 3rd half loss and then hit in the final half.
There is the possibility of losing the 2nd half, then having the 3rd half hit without being on it. But it's rare. In that event, I would recommend taking those loses then making up the difference in subsequent chases.
Again it does happen, but not enough to make a big difference over the long haul...
