The Frequency System

Been working on something for quite a long time (very long time actually) , on a different level  all together.  It’s a forecasting system based on the  working hypothesis that when certain events occur at a particular time and place, an entity (such as a team)  responds with fluctuations in performance, both positively and negatively. 

What causes these fluctuations? Like causes produce like effects…energy vibrates at different frequencies...teams go from periods of having an abundance of energy and being very active to periods of low energy levels where they look “flat”.  This system looks for the causes and  predicts the effects - or the vibratory energy levels for each team at a particular time, and gives an estimation to the outcome.

Before we can profit, we have to prove that what I have proposed is a science.   A great many tests have been performed with has proven the validity of such a hypothesis, - that I can tell you.  

Better yet, I can show you. 

Some will say it cannot be done this way – that it is impossible. There are those that limit themselves with this type of thinking.  The sooner this gains a proper recognition in a practical world we will all be better for it.   The results will bear witness to the method.  I call this The Frequency System ...

MeMyselfandEye, looks very interesting your proposal and I will try follow it, so I would like to do you some questions about it:

1) The picks are ML or ATS?
2) Could you explain, in general terms, how do you choose the picks?
3) Could you give us some examples of point 2)

Good job on the total system XLR8..been following along nicely..Back testing results have been very, very encouraging to say the least...6000 games over 5 years....I would go back farther..but it is very tedious calculations for each game..

semaper..

Picks are always ATS...assumes the line has taken into account injuries, winning %'s, all those things that determine the strength of a team on any given night,...Team A should beat Team B by X amount of points in order to get the same amount wagered on both sides of a game..   The line implies each team will be at "normal levels"..

Human activity and performance is based on brain wave frequencies...OR "in the zone" as one would refer to it for a high level of performance.

Think of teams that look flat with no energy..and think of teams that can do no wrong... This is another area of research that has nothing to do with sports, but along a scientific hypothesis I am attempting to document.  If I am correct, it will be true for all things in life, not just sports.

The questions one needs to answer:

What determines those frequencies that are dominant at a certain point in time at a certain place? Many, many things.

What determines which frequencies each entity responds positively to, and negatively to? Like causes produce like results...look back and see the cause, know the results.

Those will be the focus as this unfolds...I think I know some of the answers,  the results will be the judge. 

To reveal anymore than that would be premature at this point...but I will teach a man to fish, so to speak, when the time is right.

How do you predict what teams will be 'flat' in 3 months?

You said you back tested, so what were the numbers for those back tests

At the risk of sounding like a loon, It back tested over 60%, actually a bit higher...but anyone who's been around knows that number is the holy grail for sports investing...and back tests can be tailored to find what you are looking for -even without knowing you are doing it.

I'm not saying this will perform as well as the back test..this season so far it has been at 57%, which is why I decided to release this to document the progress..it doesn't cost a nickle to watch.

The theory goes like this...There are 7 Broad frequency groups I use..there are many, many, smaller subdivisions of these, but my calculations are already off the charts and anything more than these 7 seem to break down a bit...

It has already proven that there are different brainwaves (frequencies) associated with peak performances,  and many things affect brainwaves function...some things facilite certain brainwaves (frequencies), and some things hinder certain brainwaves.  Things that occur naturally.

Call them what you want, Frequency A, B, C, D..etc...

The hypothesis is that each team  responds to a certain frequency range, and responds better when a certain frequency is enhanced, and worse when the same frequency is not the prevalent one at the particular place and moment.

So that means a group of teams responds to Frequency A or 1 ,a group to Frequency B or 2, etc...

Do I have every team in the correct frequency group? Probably not..but I have most them correct..How do I know? Well, as the difference calculated between the freuquncy levels increases, I see a direct relationship with the performance, or overperforming or underperforming of a team, refecting inthe ATS win %.

For example, tonight game, I have Oklahoma city in Group 6 or F, and Dallas in Group 1 or A...

On a scale of -28 to +34
Oklahoma City frequency level is calculated as a 20
Dallas' frequency level is calculated at a -5

Other Game
Sacramento calculates to a 9
Denver calculated to a 10

The list in post 3 consists of  only those with a frequency differential of 20 or greater....

I would use Kelly...but remember I am just documenting this here..Just because the back test results are to my liking, doesn't mean the front test will be...

Kreatture, I am in a field that lends itself to this type of endeavor..  and BTW, great thread.  I could never analyze games like you do and post a write up of them in depth...you are one of the sharpest here. .

This is not smart.  How can you place abet on a team when you don't even know how many players could be out, sick or injured.

Nobody said is was smart...this is something along a different line all together than traditional handicapping.

I don't recommend betting it until it has proven its worth...So it shouldn't cost anyone a nickle..This is for documentation purposes only.
