Now, I have been following a very reputable capper since december who only releases an average of one NBA game per given day.. His legend is growing in another popular forum.. He recommends flat betting his computerized selections.. He has his own site and you can get emailed the picks, which are all very timely sent and updated.. 2008-09 NBA Record stands at 55-31-1 (64%)

I believe he also has an NFL system that is solid and is testing an NCAA & NHL systems, but does not recommend playing his picks in those until they become proven...

Just enter "MisterMJ" in a search engine to find his site...

And NO, I am not schilling for this guy... Like I said, i've been following his plays since December and like what i have seen.. I don't post too often over here, but guys like Lippsman can vouch for me... Best of Luck to all.

Warpath I subscribed to MJ and received his lean yeterday on theover in Bucks game. Winner. Have not received any selections for today, Feb  10th. Does he not send somedays?

Kev,

First I bought the book...Sports investing gold and it's excellent...but then i realized that the book is just for NBA and MLB.  The PSIC service has college and pro football and college baskets as well so I ended up going that way and it's been real good to say the least.

Marlon...true story...I called PSIC about 15 before 7 eastern to ask him some question about bankroll and he asked me if I wanted an extra play...if my bankroll could support it.....he told me to play OVER in the SJ / Boston hockey game even though everyone was taking the under....winner....I can't think of any other questions to ask though to call again...LOL

I signed up for his straight service, I had 2 options when I signed up.  The first one was monthly service at $100 a month, the second one was service for one year for $500, I took the one year deal thinking it would pay for itself within the first month.  Well I was wrong, it paid for itself the first week!  Besides I wasn't going to pay him $1200 for something I can get for $500.

PSIC was 1-0 in the NBA tonight with the Spurs.  I happened to call him tonight for an opinion on another game in the NBA and instead he gave me a 2nd half game in college, Wright St. they ended up winning by 12 points.  I don't know about this Gold Book he's got but the service is MONEY so far!

Guys, I hope you all heeded the advise Russell gave regarding this ABATS blog... I've been tracking (and tailing for small amounts) them since he alerted us to it and They, my friends are on FIRE..  They appear to be very selective on their releases, similar to MisterMJ's philosophy... They swept 3-0 last night with Wright St, Seton Hall and Spurs...  Definitely worth paying attention to ...

BTW, looks like old Morrison is off "the schnide" for now as the Raptors came thru also last night... What burns me about that guy is he sent clients an email about his upcoming MLB "fine tuned" 2.0 version that he is trying to sell for $125.. This, after his website assures you that he will NEVER charge anything more than the initial $197. for all of his system including selections for life.  According to PSIC, although Morrison is the best marketing the NBA & MLB series systems, he DID NOT create those systems..

BOL and "stay thirsty my friends.."

Sure very easy.  You have to hit %62.46 of  your games to break even.

Freakin' %62.46

And one lose on this chase system will cost you at least 20 wins. Also, don't believe all the numbers he puts out on winning.  As soon as he loses one in baskets he will say something is wrong with the filter and that loss will dissappear when he touts this chase to more newbie gamblers.

Go back and view my earlier post regarding the Labourchere progression system.. READ IT... It is not a pure martingale chase... If you lose a 3 game series, you would simply be out 3 units + juice... You do not double up after a loss... A simple risk adjustment is made for the following series...

You wager -170 to make 100.  You wager 1.70 to get back your original wager plus the 1 unit win.

17 to win back 27.  17\ .27 = 62.46%

That is your break even point laying -170 on a game. Which, BTW is suicide.

The 97?% comes from him not losing 3 games in a row.  But you are wagering tons of money on that 3rd game to just win one unit if it goes that far.  This guy makes his money selling his chase.  It if was so damn good he would not need to sell it.

EYEBALL

Like WARPATH said about 3 times in this thread alone, go back and read the archives from PSIC about the Labourchere Money Management System.  It's pretty hard to lose your bankroll wheather you have Morrison or PSIC using his money mangagement system.  They both produce winners, the question is do you have the discipline to stick to the system?????

i remember there was a baseball thread that kept track of the labouchere system using the sweep chase or something and that didn't turn out too good. someone said the labouchere system is able to break even with a 30 something % win rate...can someone prove this?
From what i can gather, essentially this system tries to keep u around even but like anything else, will require a lengthy winning streak to actually pick up some units...bottom line is no matter what system you use, your filters for the system must produce winners...no?

The Labourchere was created by some wacky french guy and it is used often by roulette players who play outside bets because it only requires 39% winners to break even.   I'm not going to take this space to do some mathmatical explanation you can find that on the net.....I have spent a few phone calls with PSIC and he has given me some suggestions.    First off, the Labourchere is NOT ideal if you're going to buy 3 points mainly because PSIC recommends playing  your bets on RISK instead of to WIN.  This way your lines stay clean and organized.

second, he said your selection process has to avoid long losing streaks only because most people bet too much.  The other thing he stressed to me was that if you're playing chase type systems like east / west play each game on it's own line.   The link that warpath put on here is where to go if you want a more complete explanaton.

Next point....eyeball..i bought morrisons thing.  he is not 56-0.  he is 56-1 and although that may not seem like a big deal that one loss cost 18 units if you are chasing so that's a very big deal.
last summer, morrison had 7 losses. that's right 7 and people were down over 110 units on those losses.   It's nice when you win but 1 bad season can kill 2 years of profits.

two face....the labourchere is just a tool.  It's only going to perform as well as your picks anyway but I can tell you this....last summer the people who chased the sweep chase thing lost 100 units...if you'd have used the labourchere you might have ended the baseball season between +10 and -10 units.....not very glamorous right but to be around even and have a horrible season or to be down 100 units...I'll take even...sometimes it's not what you win but can you protect your money and stay in the game long enough to get to a hot streak.

if u are playing a chase like the east/west one, where u know the number of chases u will have before the season starts....how do u apply the labouchere chase?

for example if i only have 4 series left to chase, and you have a line that is more than the chases.....
ex)  10-10-10-10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90
you add the first and last numbers each time and i  would need 6 wins to clear the line and break even.....
BUT i only have 4 series chases left to play...and who is to say that i will win all 4 chases? if i lose 1 of the chases my line increases again....etc...

Also, i think every good system needs a good stop-loss unless u have an infinite amount of money.
So at what game do you count it as a loss? after game 4,5...etc
or do you guys chase till it hits?

Sorry, I've been busy, but here you go with that FREE blog-spot from Vegas Elite Sports Investments, these guys are good like MisterMJ and totally FREE, that's my favorite part!!  MisterMJ has been solid but I played Honest Dog (another free spot ) today and yesterday and got my ass handed to me!! He played 5 games and lost 4!!  You could have done a nice 5 team opposite round robin!!

Well here you go; Use google and search Vegas Elite Free Picks, it will be a blog-spot address and you'll probably have to update the page because for some reason google doesn't update it. Use the archives to get the most recent pick. GL

I've been playing their FREE picks

Sorry, I've been busy, but here you go with that FREE blog-spot from Vegas Elite Sports Investments, these guys are good like MisterMJ and totally FREE, that's my favorite part!!  MisterMJ has been solid but I played Honest Dog (another free spot ) today and yesterday and got my ass handed to me!! He played 5 games and lost 4!!  You could have done a nice 5 team opposite round robin!!

Could someone fill me in on the East/West system?  My gut tells me that's playing against a team that just traveled coast to coast?

The east west system is basically when a team from the east goes on a road trip playing 3 consecutive games vs the west.  You play the east team for those three games until they win 1.  If they win the first one you're done, if not you go to game 2, then 3.  works the same way with west teams going east.   Also, many people buy 3 points each game as well.   I'm a little jammed for time tonight but maybe someone else could give it a more thorough explanation

I bought the book first and I can tell you that the emails are completely different.   The emails for the book ONLY contain plays that are produced by whats in the book.    The PSIC service gets all the plays including college sports and additional systems for nba.  I'm so glad I upgraded to the service because we've been 22-6 over the past 10 days or so and a lot of that is college hoops, not included in the book

Yeah CPK is right, with the Gold book you don't get the college plays and trust me so far it is worth it to have the service as well.  I went 4-1 yesterday in college hoops with PSIC!  I haven't really paid close attention to the overall record but I know my off-shore account is growing, well JERM73 good luck!
