Here is a classic for next week. Winless NFL teams are 108-68 ATS after week 5. There are 3 teams in this situation but I will take Jaguars and Giants out of equation. Why ? Because this system is 1-7 SU/ATS against unbeaten teams (Jaguars @ Denver) and 1-7 SU 3-5 ATS if winless teams are playing on short rest (NY Giants @ Chicago). Not saying that Jaguars and Giants will not cover, I am just saying that I do not want to risk my money on them. The team I am backing this week is Tampa Bay. They are winless and they are also off of their bye week. Winless teams after week 5 with more than 7 days of rest are 25-5 ATS. My play is Tampa Bay +1.

Tampa and Pittsbugh both coming off a bye too.
With Tampa, the extra week to prepare will help their offense under Glennon. Eagles are on back to back roadies, and Vick is likely out too. I think it's a good spot for the Bucs to get a win. They've really only had one "bad" game this year losing by 20 vs the Pats. All of their three other losses were by 3 or less.
Pittsburgh could probably benefit from the bye too, as they have looked way out of sync this year. It's possible they are getting the Jets on a good week considering they played on Monday on the road and got a pretty big win. Maybe a let down spot.
Of the two, I think Tampa is a better play though. I think they'll be on my card for sure.

Road teams that won last game and covered the line by 5 or more points while out rushed and out passed by opponent are 65-100 ATS. This system is 2-18 ATS since 2010. This season alone we had two upset losses in this situation, as Buffalo beat Baltimore and Cleveland beat Cincinnati. So, can New England "upset" New Orleans ? I think they can, as they own the best home ATS record against teams with more wins in the NFL in last 15 years (21-9 ATS). Play: New England moneyline.
P.S. Baltimore fits one of the systems from last week (Arizona won last week) but I will stay away because they are the only team in the NFL that was never in that situation before. Hard to believe but easy to explain. Baltimore is almost never a home dog. So, no play.
