im guessing its due to the juice. for example look at the recent phils RL play was +170 so you risk 1 unit to win 1.7u. MCSI nice work this is the first time i have stopped in to check it out might tail for a few myself. bol

I'm only chasing for the first 2 games of a series, not 3 or 4 games; so a series loss isn't costing me that much.
Second, I'm using labouchere money management, so when I do have a series loss I'm recovering my losses back rather quickly. I started out with a base unit of $20.... 10-10-10-10....every time a clear a line twice I bump it $10....15-15-15-15.....
Third, like pokerfacedjoker said, a lot of these plays are +odds, so I'm getting really good value on these plays...Hope this helps.

DD, I try to keep my lines somewhat even. If I have a loss on line (A) and that line is already longer than my (B) line, then I would put that loss on the (B) line. Likewise, if I have a winning day I may take some out of each line. If my numbers or my lines get too out of whack, I may add up all the numbers and divide it out to even out my lines. I have tried to briefly explain how I'm working my lines throughout this thread, but I realize it can be conusing.
To answer your question I do not start a new line with the next series. The reason the lines reset is because Tuesdays plays played out like this......

CWS RL (+122) 60/73.20
SD RL (+117) 60/70.20
(B)30-36
PHI RL (-125) 82.50/66
We won 143.40 on the (A) bets, and lost 82.50 on the (B) bet for a total of +60.90...So I took 30 out of each line, which left the lines like this.
(A) 30
(B) 36
Since there was only 1 number remaining on each line, I just went ahead and started the set of lines. We cleared 2 sets of 30-30-30-30 lines, so now we are at 35-35-35-35.Hope all that made sense.
