ott/calgary should have been an under play, not an over play. There was no 5's on that game. The line was 5- thus making it an under play. You got lucky with the mistake, but its really a loss in the system.

yes I guess i did get "lucky"
I have a local bookie that opens 1 hour prior to NHL gametime...
I call him 1 hour prior to the first NHL gametime start and place all my bets at that time...he had Ott/Cal line @ 5 so I took the OVER like I should and it was a winner....
...what else am i to do
I even posted my bet line here before the games started...
As far as I am concerned it was a WIN for the SYSTEM...

congrats that you got the win, but if your going to track a system for real then you have to use real lines and the real line on that game was 5- not 5. Is this system designed off your bookies numbers or real lines that are out there?
Like i said congrats that you got a 5 and won, but there isnt anybody else following this system that would have gotton that number.

your 100 percent right, this game should have been an under 5- for a winner because that is what lines were out there.
Am just saying if you are testing or following a system you have to do it with correct lines because thats the only way to know if the system works. I would think for a system like this, the opening numbers or closing numbers should be used. Just keep it the same everyday.

...please take some time and backtest that to see if it beats the current system...I would be interested in how your "under 5" stacks up to the current one I am following...
