Hey RC,

Does Vancouver -160 (V55) count as a play, if not can you tell me why?

We are using 60 rpi for away games.  CAL was 58 the other night and they did win.  You also have to be careful with VAN since they played last night.  I know it's ANA but they just beat SJ the other night and VAN at -290 lost to CAL

OK guys, Im officially back in the betting game but haven't placed a single bet on even a bowl game.  NBA wont work with RPI system (ML) & ATS, too volatile).  I started reading the posts Realitycheck1, but didn't quite get what the parameters are for a play...Home numbers and visitor numbers (as a play). post em here or PM me let me take a look.  The lines in NHL are not that bad so I think we could profit easily...like double our money each season.  I think geflk had a good point in the early post of this blog.  basell and hockey could carry all year.. sorry I havent been a bettor lately, thats all.  Please, spell it out for me or just tell me what post # has the finite details. Thanks....B2W

We are doing 35 for home and 60 for road.  The RPI gap has closed alot, now only 85 from best team to worst.  It was in the 120 range.  It started off well like 9-0 then as usual the dogs bark in the first couple months.  Definately use labby though.

Sorry for asking this question in this thread - I sent a friend request to PM you but you have not accepted yet.  But I would like to know more about how you do your labby line for NHL.

Question #1

What labby line variation do you use?  Can you elaborate?  There are many variations where tack on a loss on the end, or spread it evenly accross, etc.  Would like to know what you use?

Question #2

How do you handle multiple plays per day?  I know you said you set up a labby for home and away games but what if you have 3 games all at HOME all during same time?

Question #3

I guess question depends on question #1 too but how do you handle the large ML odd like -200 and up.  Depending on answers to questions 1 &2 - it seems like the bets could get pretty high after a couple of loses on multiple games.

Just set up a line for home and away.  If there are multiple games at the same time, start another line.

How come NYR wasn't a play - I calculated an RPI of over 35 - or are my numbers off?
