NHL Opening Game Favorite 94-1 in 2009

For those of you that would like more action out of this system, I did some back testing for this season only and found that out of the 25 game 'A' winners, 19 of them lost either game 'B' or 'C'. Of the 7 sweeps, games A B C, Detroit had 2 sweeps and as you know they've tied in NHL record for consecutive home wins. In a lot of cases the teams we bet on are big favs and if we fade games B and/or C we can catch some good odds. Risky, but wanted to throw it out there.

Thanks for the info. Have you checked/are you planning on checking previous seasons?

I do not believe Tampa was a play the line was too low-not above -145

--Wait for a NHL team to have a homestand of 3 games or more.

--If the odds for Game 1 of the homestand is -145 or higher it triggers a 3 game chase

--Due to high odds in some series, recommend using 3 line aggressive labouchere lines (as I do in my other systems)

--Playing puck line for games -180 or higher will add 2 or 3 losses per season but with much lower odds....

Oh I didn't know it's where the line opens. I thought if it went to -145 it was open. Either way, it wasn't a play. According to the chart I posted, some home stands start tomorrow.

Next play looks to be on Feb 28th, washington series. all the other homestands up until that play some hard games i wouldnt risk on.

4 teams start a 3+ game homestand today: Pittsburgh, Nashville, Toronto & Calgary
 
Only Calgary appears to qualify opening line -170 and will probably not drop and close below -145

Ottawa is a Game 1 play for tonight as long as it closes -145 or higher.
