I have a funny feeling also. The only way im going to play this game is if im up early today and can blow some cash on it. This game scares me. Sens looked like shit last night.

Ottawa was not a play.  According to covers, the A game  closed at     -127 against the Islanders.  Chase at your peril.

So, was it a play. confused now 

It is a play because it OPENED greater than -145... not the CLOSING line...

...Ottawa is a C Bet tonight...

The closing line is what was backtested.  It's one of the drawbacks to this system.  When the odds are borderline, you need to check close to gametime to make sure it's still a play.  I hope Ottawa wins tomorrow for the sake of everyone who bets it, but it will have nothing to do with the record of the system this year.

Spoutbec is right.  I was never able to backtest this against opening lines like I did for baseball.  Someone is posting my system on another site and he is doing it using opening odds only.  He has only added 6 or 7 more plays, but one of those have lost.  Play Ottawa at your own risk.  I feel bad posting after people have already started chasing, but am rarely on here anymore due to work.  Hope it hits for those playing it, but if it loses I think we will know for sure moving forward that these plays aren't worth the risk.

This system is only based on the first game of a homestand, which for BUF was the other night against BOS.  It didn't qualify on account of the odds.  BUF might be a good bet tonight (they smoked BOS 6-0 despite being underdogs), but it's not a system play.
