It would be an interesting thing to track b/c the progression lines would have different starting numbers (after the very first win) and the 'fade' would actually have better odds on the parlay.  i.e. tonight would be the 2nd game in the progression and would be 20 to win 69.

i started a separate column on my sheet to track.  will report back if i see anything interesting.

Somewhere on this thread there is a post about playing the opposite side. I think it did ok, but not sure.

Odd how pinnacle has their ML Parlay odds worse than if you were to not bet it as a parlay. Has this always been the case? I don't seem to recall it being different odds if you want to parlay it. Currently Washington -135 but -139 in the parlay menu, Ducks -110 but -113 in the parlay menu.

think it has always been the case , reduced odds for parleys

So if the 2 chosen games are 4 hours apart we should just bet the first and put all the winnings on to the second game. Works better than parlaying it.

to all of you trying to tweak hi system…

do it silently until u have data to back it up…Dan has been doing this for years…

im not trying to be rude…

and I'm not telling you toe stop trying to find better and more profitable solutions…

jus saying keep it to yourself until you have meaningful numbers...

People seem to like this system until its gets into G5-G8. After that they start doubting the numbers and asking Dan, have you tried this, have you looked at that, what about this? There are 74 pages to this thread and a lot of it is people asking how to reinvent the wheel. 

This has been a cash machine for a long time. Just play it like he says and it will make money over the long run. If a person starts with $2 parlay and it loses then they are out $148. If thats too much then I guess you should not be gambling. 

Agree, if you find something with solid number then post it on a new thread and let us follow it. But asking Dan to do your homework when he has already posted a good system is kind of slothful. I'm not trying to be an @$$ but we see this every year. 

Most of all, good luck and I hope you win no matter how you play. Thanks again Dan! The start of NHL is always like Christmas ha ha

If you're uncomfortable wagering 8,12,18,25 units you can alternatively start the chase later on... say at game 5 or 6. Chases are shorter for less juice, but there are less plays throughout the season

Story time!

I missed the winner the other day, due to making a different play (close odds, i didnt like the play)

Got lucky with a final game hit tonight for 25 units - Columbus winning in OT

Like cougarpines said - just play what Dan posts, taking a big loss when the rest of the boys in here are cheering and taking a win is not fun.
