Great results and a fun and a simple system, awesome!
Danrules24, I want to ask for an advice about a system I want to create:
1. I have been doing the system (as it looks like now) already succesfully resultswise but it is quite time consuming to include all the info that I have included (written below). 2. I want to make a system which I can use almost automatically and which takes less time to pick winners for each round.
Here is what I have done so far (I would imagine most do something similar):
1. I use mainly the covers.com page showing NHL matchups (https://www.covers.com/sports/nhl/matchups) 2. There I check a matchup that has all the following (if possible): - A good home team vs a bad/average away team OR a good away team vs a bad/average home team - A team that has had good (wins vs losses) last 10 games vs a team with bad 10 last games - A good goalie vs an good/average goalie - Not many injuries vs quite a few injuries - A team that has seemingly everything going ok vs a team going through some turmoil within management etc. because of bad results etc. - I do not put much or any weight on the team's previous matches against each other. I also do not use any info on how they've played eg. on a specific weekday, or when theyve scored 2 goals in a previous match etc. (this can be found on Covers Trends). 3. Some of the above I try to gather from game threads on HFboards (about how the team has looked besides the results). 4. I only watch most games by Winnipeg Jets, and some others, as well as some highlights, but I intend to base the system on data mostly, and not that much (or at all?) on what I (or others) can see from the games. 5. I check the lines/odds only after I've done everything above. I hardly ever take out a winner because of bad odds. 6. I have played mostly singles, some doubles, some 3 or 4 game parlays and some systems. I do not know if I should play eg. singles or doubles. 7. My average bet has been ca 15 dollars per match on singles, and less on parlays.
The Question(s):
- What should I include in the system? - How to quickly compare which matches to play with the parameters I have chosen? - Singles or doubles or something else? - Any other thoughts?
