I was wondering if you've ever used stoffos 40-20-40 parlay system with your picks. I tried it years ago and had great success with it in baseball. The next year I got greedy set my numbers to high and hit some long losing streaks and got my behind handed to me.

I haven't tried it. I fear that a 6, 7, 8 game losing streak would make the numbers too high. I'll review what the bets would have been on this system when time allows.

Yes, I did a limited run last year on a 2 team underdog (mostly) parlay and then added a low-mid favorite or Fave on the RL parlay. We cleared 200 units even with one 8 game chase loss.
We will start again for MLB, but this time from opening day and it will be 3 chases at once, adding a totals string. A little different money management from this NHL thread however.
