I realize you asked Dan but I hope I can throw my two cents in without offending anyone . I would say not a bad idea but maybe backtest or "paper trade" this and see how it fairs out? let me know how that goes..also there are WHL, AHL, QMJHL, and OHL leagues...i'm sure odds there are comparable to NHL as you never know who is going to win and all the young teams are pretty close usually..

Comparing European 'road favorites' within the structure of their leagues just doesn't cut the grain, simply put, "their are NO ROAD FAVORITES" they play all their games at available Arenas near or close to there city of origin. This is not the NHL, their rules regulations, and the game itself is all very different, and barley resembles the NHL in form; like comparing the NBA to visiting a High School Gymnasium as a "Road Favorite" playing boys 16-18...and your going to wager on this? (if you can even remotely find a sportsbook to take your action) give it a break, an interesting discussion, that's nothing more than a calculated whim. To each his own, do as you please, let's see what happens, anything is possible... (The Titans beat the Ravens didn't they?)

thanks, really good points. what about AHL/WHL/OHL games...there is also no road favourites in those do you think and they don't play in their home arenas? Not trying to be a smart behind just honestly I have no idea...

Tuesday, Game 3: Vegas -160 and Boston -140, $30 to win $53.57
On a side note: If you were to bet against Vegas this year in every game to win $100 on a fave or $100 flat on a dog, you'd be up over $900 this year, probably close to $1,000 if you shop lines. They are 24-24 on the season.
