it's based on A and B bets being bet on the puck line for every series there are no C bets according too the modified version wich kong came up with. if you read this thread from the begining then you would understand.

10% betting method
 
theres one more thought is the 10 % method is based on the same idea as straight betting take 5% of your bank roll if you win raise your bet by 10% if you loose lower by 15% althogh this is more risky it's still a very good method. this is the way I would handle this. take bet A if loose go to Bet B to break even.
If loose both lower your next bet by 15% and rebuild again.
I would use a smaller portion of my bank roll for this.  like if you have a1000$ bank roll then might want to start out with 100$ for the 10% mthod and divide 100 into 20 so your first bet would be to win 5 dollers. this is what ?I'm going to do in hockey and I'm going to try it in basketball.

Its best for us to come up with different betting options and the figure out which one gives us the highest cash return. Remember one very important thing, the "A" bet wins the most, its not the B or C bet,so we should capitalize on this and make the A bet the highest amount of money. Just my opinion. gl

Henry, I agree, there is no doubt, the A bet wins the most, I for one think that because of this, my A bet will be the game with the most amount of money on it, if I loose I'll probably use psic's lambourche system modified and split up that lose into 2 lines. I think you have to bet the most on the A bet, it makes perfect sense, bet the most on the game(A bet) that wins the most, thanks Henry

I think your right A bet should be the biggest so the modified labaurche line would probably be the best choice.

Hey y does this system hav over a 100 plays wen i got an email this week from jm tryin to sell me his nhl system n he said it has around 80 wins a season wit around 1 lost a season

My first post on covers.I've been following this particular thread with interest and would like to contribute my two cents
What about waiting for a team to lose 3 HOME games in a row then chase the next 3 HOME game for that team.
Ive tested this system for the 2006-2007 season so far and have found no losses.There were about 65 plays.Hopefully i can test other years then will let yous guys know.Hopefully i can put it up on a spreadsheet for everyone to see and comment on.Any comments appreciated.Thanks much!

unfortunately for 2005-2006 season there were 4 losses.2007-2008 there are about 5 losses and havent even done the eastern conference yet.I counted OT a loss if team was favourite because my book doesnt void bets if it goes to OT.

Just read through everything and it looks great. Thanks to everybody who contributed.
I've never used Labouchere, so I have a question about multiple games.
MON and SJ both start road trips on Oct 1. Would I do a separate "line" system for each team?
So if MON wins and SJ loses, i continue to chase SJ and move on to the next MON game?
 
Also, if a 2 game chases isnt won, do i end it there and start fresh the next series? or add the losses to the first line of the next chase?
 
just trying to figure out if i am following one series at a time, or if i could be betting 3-4 different teams in some situations.

I saw all of the pics for the new season. 165 of them. But each team had road series that extended 6 games or more. Does JM count these as two? The Canucks had one that was 13, is this 3? What does the system say about series more than 3 games? Are there any filters?
