Will count Mets against system but not playing them for these last two games. Also officially dropping them and will start using Nationals and Yankees now as replacements.

I was reading about your system and its looking pretty good so far. Question for you, would you add Balt. to your list? They are on a 4 game slide currently and have Miley pitching @ DET. Thoughts?

Thanks for keeping this thread up! I took your 7 game theory and changed it up a little bit. I've been running a 4 game chase on teams who's RPI is still in top 12 after losing 3 games in a row and their next opponent is not a top 5 RPI team. It is also undefeated so far this season. The only team that has reached game 7 was the Chicago white sox.

Sounds like something that I've been looking into as well. Over the past few seasons I looked at the winning % when a team lost their 3rd straight game as well as the RPI difference between them and their opponent for the next game. Today I have Washington and St. Louis. I'm using a winning % of 52.8 and an RPI difference of 0.023. This may change but it's what I'm using right now.
CKP22, I agree with removing the Mets from our list. For what it's worth I've been keeping an eye on Houston, Colorado, NY Yankees, Baltimore, and Boston.
I have another system that I'm looking into. It's how teams are performing against the run-line. It can paint a totally different picture. I'll get back to you on this when I have more data.
