Wow what a fight between Edgar and Maynard! Absolutely can't believe Edgar took that beating in the 1st Round and somehow survived.. and then come back and win the 2nd! Great 5 Round finish and it really could have went either way.. the fans hate the Draw but it will set up a great rematch!

I can't believe there was a 13-goal game and a 9-goal game and I still survived the Under in the Salami tonight.. Calgary missed an empty netter by a foot with 9 seconds left in the final game of the night which would have screwed it. Sometimes it's best to be lucky!

Was a pretty darn good night once again.. things have been consistent here - consistently good - and I'm obviously pleased with the money coming in.

I take a lot of Pride in being not only good at what I do, but also great at what I do. I have a lot of Passion for this Business and my love of sports is 2nd to none. In the end, I hold a lot of Power over how I can control my life and the events surrounding me. At the end of every day, it's fulfilling to check the account and see the Money adding up. I know there haven't been any down days in these last 2 weeks, but don't let it go to your head. Keep your Money Management steady and don't get greedy. There will be days when I have a setback and if you decide to increase your wagers that day you will end up very upset. And don't come crying to me, cuz I'm always continuously telling you guys the same thing..

It's important to monitor NBA games and look for opportunities to exploit at Halftimes. By doing this tonight I was able to offset the 2 smaller losses. Taking advantage of some relatively easy ML plays tonight I was able to put together 2 easy Parleys which resulted in offsetting the 1 big loss I had tonight.
I should have played the Miami 2nd Half and taken advantage of that, but a lot of results were still up in the air at that point, and I had to make sure I kept my Money Management in check. Still tho, it was a strong play and I missed that opportunity. I left money on the table and that's letting the Books off the hook.

Other than that.. it was a great night

Kreatture, I had hoped that, given Canada's shite fest vs Swedes and the Swiss almost upsetting the US, that the oddsmakers would be a bit more generous for this game.  I have -4.5, -135 on Pinny, by far the most generous book.  Not a gift-wrapped game, by any stretch.  I don't trust our goaltending, and the Swiss goalie can steal a game by himself.

kreatture thanks for the hookup on that website.and youre right that was agreat fight. after the beating he survived in the first i couldnt help but root for the lil guy. got worried in the fifth that a couple judges might give that one to maynard. would have been awesome for him to pull it out after that first rd beating. but atleast he didnt lose. makes you wonder if some of that vegas boxing style judging didnt come into play though

The line definitely jumped overnight. It's even -125 on Intertops right now. Advantage of getting the early line a few hours earlier.

Sorry the NFL picks only gave you a few minutes, I overslept and had some internet probs for some reason.

The better games are the late bunch anyway, and I'll be playing my Singles there. I want to see how the early games go before locking any of them in.

I'm hating the World Junior lines today and am leaning towards not playing anything there. Obviously Canada will win, but the ML is -3333 and I'm not liking the -4.5 spread. They could cover, but they could not. The Czechs should win, but I wouldn't be shocked with a Germany upset. I like Slovakia as the best play on the board. I can get -2 (-119) on Pinnacle right now and that may be the best play. I think Finland can win, too. At +164 it might be worth taking. I'll look at that a bit more.

Can lock these plays in now since the early games have no bearing on them. On Pinnacle, go to Football Betting and then NFL Alternates. Then select NFL Alternate Low. On other Books, you should be able to take alternate spread lines, but if not, just take the regular ML. It obviously won't be nearly as good value, but I still like both of these teams to win straight up today.

We'll see how the games go.. if an opportunity presents itself I will do my best to take advantage of it.

We have to tread carefully in the 2nd Half today with our teams who have clinched and are sitting on big leads. I'm happy to see Pittsburgh jump out to a monster lead. Baltimore essentially will have nothing to play for now in the 2nd Half and will hopefully rest their starters, allowing Cincinnati to keep it close.
