A funny thing... All of the MLB dogs at BetJamaica have a +1.5 run line, except Detroit, which has a -1.5 run line.  You'd have to get a +1.5 run line through the reverse run line options.  How janky is that?

This is the same thing that happened with the Toronto/Tampa Bay series and the Florida/Washington (V-3 series).

Play Detroit +1.5 or don't play them at all.

Depending on your bankroll; they're actually not a bad play on the money line with Edwin going against Penny. But as far as the system goes must play +1.5.

I hear you Mikey, but I already played the DET ML cause that what was available at the time. I am not adding to that here with the RL now that I have it available, especially at -210.
If Det loses by 1, I am just gonna stop with the A loss and make it up on the next series.
    GL to all.

Matchbook always offers an alternate run line. Not to mention the best available lines everyday for every game.

I got Detroit +1.5 (-195) this afternoon and I'm sure glad I did. I learned from the Toronto series and the Florida (V-3) series. When the odds are so close or flip flop always play the +1.5 line. If your books doesn't have it, get a new book or don't play it.

There's a reason most books didn't offer a +1.5 for detroit. These bookmakers really had the odds pretty sharp on this one.

Baltimore B bet tomorrow. As bad as Baltimore is, the strength of the system will piggyback them to victory.

    Just to make sure....
Does Baltimore qualify as a V2 play? They are the home team and lost by at least three and therefore should beat Oakland no problem. Correct?

Yes, this is supposed to be one of those "blowout" wins by Baltimore.

The change to this new v2.0 system is that you want to increase your stake on the [B] level when these 2 criteria are met:

    1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home.

    2. The [A] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more points.

Similarly, you want to increase your stake on the [C] level when these 2 criteria are met:

    1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home.

    2. The [B] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more points.

    1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home.

    2. The [B] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more points.

    I just checked the DET/Boston, OAK/Balt odds.
They CHANGE AGAINST your favor after you log in.
Baltimore is -165 not logged in, -190 logged in.
Detroit is -105 not logged in, -135 logged in.

ALL OTHER GAMES DON'T CHANGE WHEN NOT LOGGED IN VS. LOGGED IN.

What a scumbag JM type company. I hate those bastards. So glad I picked up on that early on.

I got Balt at -165 early yesterday morning and Det at -135.  This is at BetUS.  I am registered under the JM promo code.

As I explained in an earlier post on a different thread, at BetUS, JM people are placed into their own betting pool.  The odds in this pool start out the same as the line at the rest of BetUS.  However, the JM betting pool lines run independently from the rest of BetUS.  The results of this is that the JM system picks start running against the JM people as all the action tends to be on the JM picks.

This post is not intended to be a defense of anything or a justification.  I simply post this to let people know what is going on.  As a member of the JM betting pool at BetUS, of course I am very unhappy with the situation.

I agree jeff, I was just saying that it was originally discovered in the NBA odds. So, no surprise that it is going on in the MLB too.

The Baltimore B V2 tonight has me paranoid after blowing the Detroit bet last night by not getting the +1.5.

I really don't want to double up and then have to go to a C level Wed.

Then why don't you move your action to matchbook or another site since the lines are always better

Wow!  Thanks for the tip!  I never thought of it.

Problem is, because I took the bait, I mean the bonus, I can't move (cash out) until I play through the required minimum wagers. As soon as I can get free of BetUS, I'm gone--if I have any money left.

Get through those plays as quickly as possible (with the money of course). I say that because this has been my first season at MB and the money difference is huge simply b/c of the juice. I used to get 10 cent worse lines minimum on most of my wagers and it certainly hurt my bankroll.

I now keep 4-5 different accounts and always play where the best line is. I was educated so I just wanted to pass it on man.

    Whoa whoa whoa man........
Check it... What's done is done...
But you got to get out asap......
    This is what I did
I opened an account at BetUS and shortly after closed it out with no problems.
    DON'T TAKE THE BONUS
At one point JM wouldn't give you his picks until you opened an account with them if I recall
    Just use a different sportsbook
    You will get better spreads

    DON'T BELIEVE ME ASK LIPPSMAN

He had a great post showing how BETUS shaves spreads in NBA just enough against JM games where it effects your win / loss outcome and pending how you wager if you don't follow through correctly then give up. And they love that from all the amateurs
MLB is also sucks sometimes as in yesterday
Bos was the fav yet had the +1.5/ line
Det was the dog and had the -1.5/ line
Det opened as a dog but the books know what's going on
Only you would of yesterday if you got Det at +1.5/ alt. line

As soon as everyone can get out of BETUS
There is also wide spread payout problems
There are too many better books out there

    Such as:
    Diamond
    Betjamaica
    5Dimes
    Bookmaker
    Wagerweb
    Matchbook
    Pinnacle     (non-usa)

I am sure other books are good too.
Anyway never take a bonus - it only locks you in to play with them
Have $$$ in different accounts to shop the best spread or line
    Good luck man

Yesterday bet with Detroit(Monday), I use 5 sites BetJam,TheGreek,Wsex,5Dimes, and Linesmaker and NONE of them had Detroit +1.5

So with Detroit going down... should we look for an Alt line possible? +2½ since they are playing against Beckett?

what I liked to do was wait for the betus line to get so blown out that i would play the opposite of morrison at betus and then play morrison's picks at my local bookie or another website. that way i was getting a free $5-$10 margin and if the morrison's pick one i was getting the money out of the betus account for free. no bonus rollovers and no withdrawel fees.
