Yeah, I got NYY -175 at my book. Betus has it at -220. I hate those F'ers.
Loaded up to win 200. Will add more after night limits are off.
The only thing I don't like about tonight is that it is the obvoius pick for so many reasons. Those always seem to sneak up on me and bite me in the ass.

But like a good deal of players he didn't know when to get out.  Usually when you have been with a team as long as he had that's a huge sign when they don't want you.  Just isn't right for him to be playing with any other team than the Braves.

Other players that you just wouldn't think would of played for these teams thier last year.

    Franko Harris last year.....Seahawks

    Joe Namath last year......Rams

Johnny Unitas last year.... San Diego (That just hurts)

Brett Favre last year.........Jets (BTW, did you know he played for the Falcons his first year)

Archie Manning last two years.....Houston and Minny

    OJ. Simpson last team.....San Fran

    Tony Dorsett last team.....Denver

    Earl Campbell last team......New Orleans.

    Sad just sad.........

I wish they would all go out like Ripken

Congrats on your win, I thought you were cooked when the Nats had runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs

Very true Lipps.  If the Wren saw something still good in him and Glavine, he would of resigned him.  These two guys bitched and moaned to the Atlanta media when the whole time Wren and the Braves were trying to save them from embarrasement.  Glavine would have been a bigger disaster but thankful the massacre would have been avoided.

Now Smoltz has to faced a pissed off Yankess team that has lost 9 in a row against Boston.  So not only does he have statistics against him, he has his reconstructed elbow, shoulder, and poor pitch placement to deal with.  The Yankees are hitting well right now and licking thier chops at this oppurtunity.

Nole, don't sweat it man.  The Sox +180 is the biggest sucker bet on the board tonight.  They are trying to bait as many suckers as they can to put money on the Sox.  Do you think Vegas is going to give out a Christmas preasant in August?

Just to prove my point as Florida losses another one.  Florida was .047 higher in RPI then Was and got swept.  So RPI is not a good indicator.

If you bet the system correctly, it works great.  Florida was the dog against the Nats on 8/5/09.  Therefore you were supposed to bet the RL @ +1.5.  If you did that, you win--just like the system says. RPI indicator worked real good for me.  Added about $400 to my account.

I bet at BetUS which normally has the WORST odds possible for JM sys players and I got the Fish as the underdog on 8/5.  I have another account at beted and the Fish were the underdog there as well.

That is a tuf loss if you couldn't get them as the dog.  Of course getting them as the dog and playing the RL costs a lot of money.

FLA was a fav -117 when I got them.  But what I'm saying is a team with a .047 higher RPI should at least be able to win 1 game of the series.  This is the second time as CLE swept SEA, which had just as high of an RPI advantage.   All proving this is not a good indicator, and will go down in flames sooner or later.

so what if Cle swept Sea?  What does that prove?

The rpi doesn't predict which team will win and which will lose.  Nobody ever said it did.

You are missing what SRTZEE is trying to say.  He is saying that teams with higher RPI's are getting swept by lower ones.  If you've been following JMs plays.. that is his filter index.  Only play on teams with higher RPIs... and in this case now, 2 teams with higher RPIs have been swept.. so when he says it's "going to go down in flames" he means sooner or later the system is going to take a huge loss.

Very true Jeff.  As I showed earlier in the day I also got the Marlins RL yesterday +1.5.  That is what everyone should of played.  I have some advice for everyone who complained about Toronto a few weeks ago and th Marlins last night.  If you have a book that post the lines the day of the game you need to quit and change to a real sportsbook.  If you live in Canada play Pinnacle, or US get a 5dimes or Bookmaker(Football and Basketball only for Bookmaker) account.  You will never have success system betting using the same days lines.  I wrote about this many times in 2008.  I always make my plays the night before unless I am betting an obvious dog which I am sure that will get more value the next day.  9 times out of 10 you will always get a better line the day prior.

Yes Strzee, There is no such thing as the perfect system.  That is why in is imperative to play Labouchere over Martingale.  Everyone playing Martingale will pay hardcore one day.  However this RPI system is incredibly accurate, and the Clevleland/Seattle episodes don't statistically relate to the sweep chase system that we are playing here.  I see your logic and agree with it, but it is still statistically unrelated to the system circumstances.

Remember guys, we just got two gifts over the last few days.  Seattle and Florida will both be RPI system plays over the next few weeks.  Trust me, they will cover for us.  And Strzze, Cleveland only swept Seattle once this year, and will most likely not be able to sweep them again, or do it by the RL.

It goes both ways, just because you got FLA as a dog and got the RL and  FLA turned into a FAV, you got the win.  Now if FLA started out as a FAV and you got the ML, only for them to turn into the dog before the game starts where you could get the RL.

I think you need to read the systems you are betting on to find out JM's importance of relying on the rpi.

Yeah Lipps, even though i am cashing in tonight I almost feel bad for one of my Atlanta Brave childhood heroes.  His career wasn't supposed to end like this.  I just wish he got shut down like Glavine.  Damn Red Sox had to give him a chance.  Too bad.

Terrific wins via JM.....even a newb like me is killing it.

Anyone have an inkling on the NFL system.....I understand it has something to do with the turf that is played on.

    Here is a recent email:

BUttttt....I have even more exciting news for you !

The NFL 2009-2010 season is just around the corner (as a matter of
fact, the first NFL game to be played is just 2 days away!), and I'm
about to drop a bombshell to you on the one single system that I call
the greatest betting system I have ever developed! This is the one and
only system that I have always thought I would carry with me to the grave!

I've thought about it long and hard, and this will be the one time
I will break to you my lifelong silence on my 97% win rate NFL
betting system - the one betting system that will make you filthy
stinkin' rich for the rest of your life without ever lifting a finger!

Yes, the NBA and MLB betting systems are remarkable in every aspect.
Their win-loss records of hundreds of wins without a loss is
extraordinary for sure...but let me make this clear: they can't
touch the incredible genius of my top-secret NFL betting system.

Let me make this more clear: No betting system I've ever developed has COME
ANYWHERE CLOSE to how freakishly amazing my NFL betting system really is!

What makes my NFL betting system so incredible you ask? Well, it still
goes by a 3-game series just like my NBA and MLB systems, it still
wins at the same rate of amazing consistency, but here's the killer:

****The odds of each game you'll bet on will be about -110!****

Buying 3 points in the NBA, or betting in the MLB can have you facing
odds of -170, -200 and more throughout the course of the 3-game series.

Wouldn't you love to be able to win just as much as you do in the NBA and
MLB, but without having to lay a tremendous amount of juice to win your wagers?

That's right - the average odds you'll be betting on in my
top-secret NFL betting system is -110. You lay $110 for every $100
you want to win. And you will win just as consistent, if not MORE
than you do with my NBA and MLB betting systems!

As a matter of fact, my top-secret NFL betting system is so
startlingly accurate at picking winners that the [A] bets alone win
more than 70% of the time over the last 10 years of NFL football! And
the [A] bets are the ones that are least likely to win of them all!

Can you just imagine what kind of a disgusting fortune you could make
for yourself with that? Even my NBA and MLB systems don't win the [A]
bets at more than 70% of the time over the long term. My NFL betting
system does, and the best part of it all is that every bet is only
going to be -110 in odds, not -170, not -200 +!

I call it the "John Morrison's Greatest Creation: The Ultimate NFL
    Football
    Betting System"

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
It is truly ultimate in every sense of the word:

    -    The system went undefeated in the NFL last season (2008) (And we
only had to go to the [C] bet one time throughout the entire season,
    which we easily won!)

    -    The system went undefeated again in the NFL the season before that (2007)!

    -    ...and undefeated again in the season before that (2006)!

    -    ...and undefeated again in the season before that (2005)!

    -    The last time my NFL betting system actually lost was back in
2004. Where then there were 71 straight winners without a single loss!

    -    That's right - 1 Loss in 5 years!

    -    And all this by betting on games with average odds of -110!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

The ingenuity behind the filter of my NFL system is so subtle, yet
so powerful that I can vow on my mother's grave you'll be stunned
the moment you read it over and realize just how incredibly accurate
the system really is at picking winners!

It's true! It's true! (Kirk Angel). I locked in on the Yanks at -167 at matchbook the night before. It shot up to over -210 before game time.

Also the V-3 Marlins play was a winner on Wednesday if you played the +1.5 which was readily available at matchbook even up until game time so I can confirm that. Did I play it? Of course not because I'm an idiot. Why follow the system the proper way and win? That's too easy.

No big deal, got it all back on the Yankees tonight. Too SWEEET!

As for the Marlins A bet against the Phils on Friday, 8/7: I see the RPI difference between them is 0.012. Does anybody have any reservations about playing the series? I read in JM's V-3 system update that the difference can't be greater than 0.015. Anybody correct me if I'm wrong please because at first I though it was 0.01.

It's true!

    DAT's wha I'm talkn' 'bout ! ! !

The fact that the team with the higher rpi got swept by the team with the lower just means that a juicy system play is coming up.  It doesn't mean that the rpi filter is unreliable.
