I am a math teacher that loves dealing with numbers.  I am just crunching numbers and trying to find value plays in both hockey and baseball.  The statistics I am using will not come into play until 25 baseball games have been played.  I am starting off with my first hockey play tonite.  I am using "Kelly Criterion" in a unique way.  I will explain if I start doing any good.

I am going to have a $1000 bankroll.  I am only goofing around, so don't follow me and just sit back and watch.  This thread may flame out early, or it may last a long time.  Who knows?

Risking $120 to win $144 on Phoenix Coyotes.

Oh boy another math teacher...lol  Just like this guy thought his math teaching would help him win, now he's under 50%carljamestaft.com   This is sports betting not a math test.

Always interesting with mathematics applied... any reason for limiting to only baseball and hockey? Clearly you have not explained anything of your "system" so I am just curious as to why it would only be limited to the non-spread major 4.

MLB and NHL are considered to be the 2 "easiest" sports to make profits in. This is what a lot of real Sharps focus on and in all reality it should be the only thing we wager on, as well.

Spread sports are bogus and I've always known this, altho I can't seem to stay away from them. Who cares if a team can win by 11 points, or 12 points.. it's just about who wins.

Vegas makes their existence off NFL and NBA bettors.. they wouldn't be nearly as rich if neither of these Sports were available. An entirely new topic opens up from that, as the looming Lockouts appear on the horizon. Personally, I doubt it will happen.

risking $43 to win $43 on Dallas (EVEN)

Up to this point, I have risked $857 to win $57.37 for a:

ROI= 6.7% 

I will get my calculator out and hopefully have some plays today.
