College hoops system......give it a look

FYI - I'm almost done testing this for the 2014-2015 season. Will post findings soon.

I ran the numbers for the 2014-2015 season. Started on Dec 31 and went through end of regular season. I did not filter based on where the public money went as Ken does.

Overall record: 73-77

Double digit dogs: 25-16

15 or more dog: 11-1

Small dogs (4 or less): 29-21

Betting every game on ML:  - $3900 based on $100 a game. Not good

That 15+ filter sure looks nice! 11-1 

After looking back through this thread I have come to the conclusion that I will follow this system through the end of January. Kens record at that point was outstanding. It only makes since that it went downhill after that because once you hit February the good teams really start becoming focused and separating from the pack moving towards March Madness while, on the flip side, the lesser teams begin to realize their fate and their interest and effort begins to wain.

SUPEREAGLE43, unfortunately I didn't... although the ideology of the significance of an official record would bring handicapping value to the forefront of discussion, especially to the understanding of the second half of the season (February, March) and why WINS drpped to aprx 46%

 

Dan, would it be easy to provide an overall record through the end of January 14-15 with your research that's already been done? Thanks

Eagle I'll have to look for my spreadsheet but I do recall that the system was pretty close to 50% give or take a couple points, the entire season. There was not a drop off of any significance after January as in the year Ken posted. That was one of the things I was looking for but it never materialized. 

Keep an eye on Colorado and Nebraska in college basketball Wednesday night. These are 2 plays fit the parameters, except they are non-conference.

These 2 plays split out.  The Nebraska play would have covered on the 1st half, but they were blasted in the 2nd half.

Colorado was a ML winner

Iowa covered and was ML winner

I think you could include MTSU also. Only problem with that was less than 60% were on Vandy so it may not have qualified

S.Florida covered S. Carolina 1st half. Maybe playing halves is way to go before conf. play

MO STATE VS.USC COVERED BETTING HALVES  SAME WITH UNLV VS KS ON12-22

Temple  vs.Cinncycovers 1st half vs, Cinncy and Oregan covers UCLA 1st half

Ore.St.covers USC 2nd half for a 3 game sweep tonight

So are u betting conference matchups? Or just fading ranked teams on road and r u better first halves or full game ? Are u chasing second half after first half loses

any ranked team on the road. 1st half if that loses 2nd half. just something to do untill conference starts and it turned out to be profitable

I wonder if ken will be back to tun this fun system again?
