Anyone have good horse racing betting angles

1. last 3 races within 60 days 2. 2/3 last races same or higher class 3. 2/3 last races within 1/2 furlong of todays distance 4. 2/3 last races odds of 8:1 or less 5. 2/3 last races within 4 lengths of winner... Play if only 1 horse qualifies on all of the above Good Luck

A good system I've used if I'm totally lazy (in Australian racing) is to simply look at the betting market. Two good methods are: 1) bet the favorite if its odds are about $2 and the rest of the field is $7 or higher. 2) bet the top 3 fav's in a trifecta or quinella if their odds are $4 or below and the rest of the field is $10 or higher. I've had a pretty good success rate with the second method and it's better to apply it to the higher class races.

If anyone has a winning horse handicapping system, he should not publish it. It will quickly become a losing system from overuse by others. I have picked up some useful angles (mainly from the toteboard) but I will never, for obvious reasons, reveal these to anyone.

jackscratch-- One that has been good for me is to develop a "stable" of horses I follow and bet on. I create the stable from viewing races and from charts, and then throw out those with less than 10% wins. Have many others that I use at the track, but don't have the free time to go regularly anymore. Too bad, as wins seem to be more plentiful when you are "in tune" to a track.

ahhhhh i love the ponies too and just about every system in here will work ! I hate getting stuck behind big money gamblers who just play exacta and trifecta combos at every fucking track ! and for some reason MY horse at the track i'm betting they leave out of eaxcata plays and trifecta plays ! thats when i double my wager on MY Horse if i was gonna bet $20 to win and Place on him I go for $40 to WIN and Place ! I hit over 98% WINNERS when i hear the BIG money gambler leave out my horse ! ||moose.gif' border=0>

ok this is how i do it! I take a horse with a odd numbered name, lets say the horses name is happy jack (9 letters) and if the horse is an even numbered horse lets say #2 for the race hes in then i bet on him! if more than one horse fits this description take the horse with the better odds. If both horses are good odds then tri fecta or even super fecta over a # of races its a long shot on the super fecta but the tri fecta works well when you add in the favorite too! try it b4 you think im crazy!
