i have not looked into college football or tracked it, but i will definitely keep a closer eye on it from here on out. as soon as basketball starts (both nba and ncaa) i am going to try and track it. it shouldn't be too difficult. we'll just be focusing on the early games that occur on the weekends.

THE LONG TRAVEL FACTOR HAS ALWAYS WORKED SINCE THE 1970'S. IT IS A PIMARY FACTOR WHEN HANDICAPPING. ALSO WHEN COLD WEATHER HITS, WARM WEATHER TEAMS FARE POORLY IN THE COLD. TAMPA BAY WENT ABOUT 20 YEARS IN A ROW NEVER WINNING A GAME IN COLD WEATHER TOWNS. MUCH OF IT HAS TO DO WITH THE RED BLOOD CELLS NOT CATCHING UP TO THE WHITE BLOD CELLS. PHYSICALLY AN ATHLETE DOES NOT FUNCTION AS GOOD AS IS HIS NORMAL ABILITY. IT IS IMPORTANT TO INCLUDE LONG TRAVEL INTO ONES HANDICAPPING. AS A GENERAL RULE PASS ON LONG TRAVEL TEAMS UNLESS THEY ARE PACING AT AN ABOVE 80 WIN%. THIS FACTOR DOES NOT WORK AS WELL IN BASKETBALL. ONE REASON IS ALL GAMES ARE INSIDE AND THE RED CELL FACTOR WORKS BEST WHEN TEAMS ARE FOCUSED ON STRENGTH RATHER THEN SPEED.

what!??? why would you not play those games? that is even worse than jumping time zones...
and for the record, that has been done twice this year (Ariz @ NYJ and NE @ SD)... both teams got blown out in the first half and never stood a chance... ANY TIME a team stays on the opposite coast between games, that is an auto-bet against scenario, and it DOES fit right in with this trend, because it still is about the travel disadvantage...
also, this trend is actually 7-2 for the season... i know, i have bet every single game since week 1...
