First of all I just started playing as I am new to the site and trying to get a streak going on spring training MLB is tough.
Second, I will continue to play because free is free and its fun.
That said, a quick math rule of thumb for you to keep in mind for your own real money accounts:
If you win 5 straight ATS games at -110, reinvesting the winnings into the next bet, you will multiply your original bet by a factor of 47.
EX $11 bet is $517 after the 5th win $22 turns into $1034 after the 5th win etc, etc etc
Now that's off by a few pennies but nothing significant. I bring it up because I see so many people getting 7+ wins in a row in a game where the house is giving you a card to play off of!! If you can do it here you can do it in the real world even more easily.
As always easier said than done I know, but if you stay disciplined, only play when you have handicapped it and feel you have a true edge then 5 isn't an unreasonable number.
Love to hear some feedback on what people think of this.
BOL in whatever you bet.

I think your math might have been off a little bit, after the 6th win you get to your numbers, but how often will you hit 6 in a row? Maybe twice a year? In the long run not profitable, look at everyones long term numbers, right around 50%.

11 to win 10 = 21 (1st win)
21 to win 19 = 40 (2nd win)
40 to win 36 = 76 (3rd win)
76 to win 69 = 145 (4th win)
145 to win 132 = 277 (5th win)

Yeah, messed up the math in there somewhere. Thanks for catching it.
I know I can hit 6 losses in a row quicker than a jack rabbit on a date.
All kidding aside, I agree with you on the streak chasing thing but I figured if people were going to do it here for free they might want to be aware they can make money doing it in their own accounts for a lot lower number than 17.

Ya I'm sure you can hit 3 in a row no problem, 4 sometimes, and maybe 5, but 6 in a row is an incredibly hard proposition. Plus the multiplier on this site in insane, nowhere else can you multiply 0 and end up at 1000

True story. One time I decided to put $10 a game on every NCAA basketball game that had a dog of +400 or higher because I was steaming about some favorites I backed losing straight up.
It was a busy Saturday and I bet 18 games. The first one hit (it was Ga Tech) then I proceeded to watch the next 17 in a row lose! I know there were some huge dogs in there but try and go hit 17 in a row the other way and see if it ever happens. Most amazing run I've ever been a part of and it was unfortunately on the losing side.
Needless to say it didn't help me get over being pissed.
