Lukaku leading the line is enough for me with De bryune

ugh I just hate Belgium. Don’t rate them at all….idk.

Yes, I couldn't agree more. Just waiting on lineups and then I can post the game myself.
And I'm so optimistic that I still don't want to write off this disaster.
I had taken Japan at the half last night at -2.5 and parlayed them with Spain FH. Spain FH was super juiced so there was no reason to post them (and I couldn't get to Japan 2H play to do so). The reason I'm saying this is because I also thought Spain would win the FH I just didn't think they'd score like this. I guess 2 goals in a couple minutes is poison on a lightning rod for any UNDER play in int'l soccer.

You always have the answers afterwards don't you? However, you still can't be troubled to post a record in any sport (even tho you said you were going to in June for baseball)...speaks volumes...

Lukaku won’t start dudes. Will likely be subbed in 2nd half.

I was waiting on lineups actually @Brooklyncapper
It's just that I know LA and I know Iran are going to have an army of fans behind them. I was going to take Lukaku as an anytime goal scorer but I think the loss of Doku is going to be big for them to open up the field. Pretty sure this game will lack the scoring punch that this game is supplying.
Belgium tend to disappoint and they have another opportunity here to do so. Does history repeat itself?

Listen everyone, "own goal" happens more than u think. I always sprinkle somethinh on it to occur. Usually pays +1000 or higher. Just something I do to make a nice hit. Just hit another one with this game.

Here are some thoughts for the next game now that I'm fully awake. Sorry about the Spanish play, I probably should have considered that they didn't score the first game and goal differential would come into play. Just hope it doesn't end 4-0 and we lose after all that by only half a goal.
As for Belgium, I don't like them. I think their coach stinks and that he's one of the main problems with the squad. They HAD been playing well coming into the tournament but truth is they are now winless across their last three World Cup fixtures (D2, L1), which led to their early exit last World Cup in Qatar. But tying to Egypt isn't the worst result and most will expect a Belgian win here.
Iran on the other hand is much maligned. An unpopular war in their country and now they are playing in the country that has attacked their own, for whatever reasons. But they are gifted games in Los Angeles, with a tremendous Persian population and that will give the Iranians a lift that they could really use. And I don't think most people realize this, but Iran is actually ranked #20 in the world, so they are no walkovers.
I do see a really tasty anytime goal scorer prop though. If I think that Iran will score, and I do, then there is a really good chance that Mehdi Taremi will be the man to do so, given how many goals he has already scored for Iran. Well, he's juiced all the way to +390!!! So that must mean the oddsmakers are putting a very long shot on Iran scoring at all, which I think is a bit short sighted.
If I do make Taremi an official play that is quite a shot in the dark and I would give myself the 4 units on the reflective record. Not sure I'm gonna swing that way because doing so will also put in question some of the other plays I have considered, named the FG under. But I do think that Iran is every bit a matchup for Belgium whose style of play will be more similar to Egypt than to other European clubs the Belgians are used to squaring off against.

Need to get this updated and then I'm going to post the play for the next game. I could realistically wait for the lineups but with Doku out I don't even really need the lineups. My big play today will be on Uruguay though I think if I can cash this Belgium/Iran game I'll have a solid profit to roll into it, and that would be nice.
UNDER 3.5 FG (SAUDI ARABIA/SPAIN) -105
At least we are not losing the highly juiced plays so that's a positive but it would suck to lose by half a goal given the way the game has gone.
UPDATED RECORD: 58-25 (BIG PLAY: 20-7)

Last post, I promise. Just got the starting lineups so going to post plays now and some small write up.
As I said, Iran is not a walkover, it's not what I think, it's how they play. RARELY do they lose by more than one goal, when they are on the losing end as they are on the back of a run of one defeat in their last eight games inside 90 minutes (W4, D3), the last four of which saw them score at least twice (W3, D1). That last part is also interesting as they don't often get shut out.
Belgium has had some solid games actually keeping teams off the scoresheet but those were in qualifiers and I reckon the Belgians will have a LOT more pressure squarely on them today, as they failed to get a W in their first game in this years WC and didn't get out of the group stage last WC!!! That couldnt' happen again, could it?
Well, I have seen Belgium play enough without Jeremy Doku to see how much of a difference he does make. Romelu Lukaku will be starting and that will help the Beligans but they have to be able to get the ball to him, and I think that will be tough as Iran have a good backline and a very solid goalkeeper. As I stated earlier, if the oddsmakers think that Iran will score even one, there are really great odds on Mehdi Taremi as an anytime goalscorer though strangely it just went from +390 which I put some cash on to +320. He scores if Iran scores...so not sure I will double down on BTTS since this might be a really great way of getting units on the same play, more or less. Kind of like Brian Brobbey bet yesterday, but different...
MEHDI TAREMI ANYTIME GOALSCORER (+320)...I will book THREE units if this hits since it's an official play (I have it at +390 b/c I played it earlier but listing where it is now)
IRAN +1.5 (-135)...BIG PLAY!!!: I'll go down with the Iranians on this one, utter disrespect. I do think that Belgium wins but they also draw so much in the WC, they are(D2, L1) in their last 3, and Iran's tendency for playing really close games makes this a big play imo.
Just so tough going against top international names and European stalwarts. But...the Belgians are just considered that, they are not truly that. Just like the Italians were in the past and somehow are still considered a top squad. I'll be nervous in this game but Iran will have a LOT of fans and the pressure will be on Belgium. No Doku was a huge loss imo and prompted this backing on top of the analysis. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Added..
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+105)...BIG PLAY!!!: If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen but I'm going to smash this.
really sucks to lose that first play by half a goal. I realize the Spanish played differently in the second half, I misread that FH. We will get it back on this game...have a sneaking suspicion.
Also the +1.5 has gone up quite a bit in price. Further reinforces how solid a play it is but if that's expensive for some of you I get it. Also hard to back Iran I also get that part, I'm just trying to make some coin and turn the corner from the AM loss.

agreed. belgium is ass. never won a thing...always disappoint and always ranked and touted high. golden age is long gone for them too....taremi is the only option to score imo for iran....
