England SU/Spain & Chile over 1.5 goals (parlay)..1250 to win 1k

I have always has this feeling England would struggle early doors but would find a way of qualifying. I am hopeful that England will find a way to win this and maybe even do it by more then a goal. The fact England have been so unimpressive means, I am not unloading on this.

I then have to wait until Friday for the second part of the parlay and that's Spain v Chile over 1.5 goals. For me Spain is simply a better version of Chile. Both teams have flair but look very suspectable at the back. I know people were angry at Spain (I was too first game) but they showed some signs they maybe about to come into decent form..With both teams incapable in my opinion of playing it tight, I expect Spain to have too much firepower for Chile. Chile will also know that goals scored may come into play so if they go behind they will attack. The over 1.5 goals looks a good bet here..

Mack, great job in the World Cup!  I wanted to say I respect your posts in the World Cup and especially in the Boxing forums.  I respect Tmpeus picks in College Basketball.

Because of your analysis,I will probably play England for Wednesday's match.  Also,  I am hoping that the Pretty Boy Floyd-PacMan fight happens so that I can unload on PBF.

Ok Guys 2 SMALL Plays tonight. Waiting for England tomorrow.

1) Over 2.5 goals @evens -> Argentina v Greece. Argentina good at front, not at the back, while Greece need a result. Should lead to a few goals.

2) Nigeria to beat Korea @ +200 -> Just playing on a hunch here and going against the seemigly popular choice of Korea. Think we have an evening of drama ahead with all 3 teams in the mix with a few minutes to go. Nigeria were on their way to 3 points v's Greece until a moment of madness cost them 3 probable points.

3) Nigeria to qualify from group @ +450 -> Same reason as above. Think it might not be a bad play, even though that moment of madness in the second game will probably mean they miss out. Hopefully those crazy Africians give me a run for my money

Ok not a good night for me but I did recommend SMALL plays. That is going to change tomorrow.

Draws with USA and Algeria were definitely not in the script for England and the amount of negativity that has seeped out in recent days would certainly suggest - as John Terry indicated - that all is not well in the camp.

Indeed the public row between coach Fabio Capello and his former captain was anything but pretty, with the Italian accusing Terry of making "a very big mistake" by going public with his criticism of the set-up.

Yet as gruesome as the World Cup campaign has been to date for them it's important they don't lose sight of the fact that a win against Slovenia and England are guaranteed a place in the last 16.

While Terry's comments on Sunday drew plenty of headlines the following morning, Frank Lampard insisted during a 'firefighting' press conference on Monday there are no factions and the players are right behind the manager.

And, of course, we can't rule out the fact that all these behind-the-scenes problems will bring the players together to produce a quality performance. But England had better be under no illusions about what lies in front of them in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday afternoon.

Slovenia are not a bad side, as they proved when going down to a battling 2-1 defeat against England at Wembley just last September.

Matjaz Kek has his men well drilled and they've shown by securing four points to England's two in their opening couple of games that they'll be anything but pushovers.

But with them now needing only a draw to be assured of a place in the last 16 you have to wonder what their mindset will be, particularly as they showed frailty in throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with the USA in a game they could easily have lost had Jozy Altidore's late goal (rightly) stood.

That collapse (had they held on and won they were through) - and the fact that England surely can't string together three poor performances on the bounce...can they? - is enough to convince me to take England Odds on.

In truth I am not overly excited about quotes of -225 on the England win as frankly you just don't know which team are going to turn up at the moment. If that which laboured for 90 minutes against Algeria appears again they could be on the way home come full-time and I have to come on here and apologise to all you guys. But if the England team plays to its best of it's ability then -225 odds-against will look very juicy indeed as England at their best are a good bit better then Slovenia.

But therein lies the dilemma - England should win but I have a feeling I will be sweating on this one. If you don't like to sweat then this bet is to be avoided. If your an adrenaline junkie like me then hop aboard :-)

yeah chips when I said small I meant small. only 50 bucks on each! Nigeria bet was not a million miles away and Greece are a disgrace. They played for a draw for 80 minutes knowing they had to win! Who does that!? I wasn't happy with the card today so I never invest much on games like today's when I have no solid feeling..

It's hard backing England but I believe they turn it around tomorrow.

What can I say? Another Monster win for you guys posted, previewed and delivered. I am not up 14k on this tournament now (all posted on this thread). Taking a break tonight. Might play a SMALL Draw Draw parlay but nothing much. I am drained after that. That was harder work then it should have been..

Guys one thing I have noticed is how tight last games have been. I think Germany wins tonight, but I don't have the same feeling I did about England. Going to try a risky low stakes Parlay..

Dude you seem to miss the point completely. Anyone can post they are playing -225 plays. That is not a hard thing to do. Its taking the odds on and continue to win, that is the real skill.        Notice how I am not going 10k to win 5 k on Germany tonight?

A good gambler knows a great -200 bet compared to one that could easily be turned over.

I posted 2 HUGE plays, where I said the value was good and that I was betting big on. Brazil came in at evens and England for -225. Both games were capped correctly and both won. I am sticking my neck out, because If those play's lose, then who is going to follow my threads? or far more importantly, I am down 19K!!!.

Also Luke I have hit +550, +600 and +300 plays this world cup and will have an upset special in the knockout stages. It's fine hitting the odd dog but this is how I make money. Analysis a game/fight/match and recommeding a play I feel has a great chance of winning..

If people followed Vanzack and played on my big recommendations they would be up HUGE this world cup. Van has hit more then me but has made nowhere near the amount of units I have.
