I have Argies/Brazil pre tourney (see first page of this thread). I don't see the winner coming from anywhere else and I have seen nothing to change my mind. I think the value is gone with Argentina, especially with them being in the harder half of the draw.

That's why I said if you can't afford it dont gamble. If that game goes 2-2 after the Germany start, England wins. Now fate has gotten the way in my bet. BUT I have to say I have capped this wrong. Germany look like they have played together all their lives.

Sadly I have no complaints. The better team won and sadly for me I have gotten this BADLY wrong. I know the goal a 2-1 was a COMPLETE sickner but I think/know the best team won.
I of course apoglise for those who have tailed me on this pick. I feel I have let you all down. I have no more picks for the rest of the tournament. I have Brazil and Argentina and if one those win the tournament, I break even for this world cup. If not then down about 6-8k depending on future bets. Paraguay and Japan can do me a favour by going to penalties but my world cup hinged on this.

Japan is just not in the same class and Paraguay matches up well and will adjust their defense after scoring their first reckless goal. Even if Japan scores first Paraguay has the offense to still pull it off. No one wants to go to OT or PK.

I don't see Brazil getting past Holland and may havew a tough time vs Chile.

I lost 23k today but gambling has given me a good life. I own my own house and car and have over 100k in the bank all from winning on betting. I get to live in the Canary islands for 4 months a year.. You have highs and low's. Today is a big low for me as 15% of my bankroll is gone (and that hurts), but if you are disciplined, don't react to losses in a negative way and you are good at capping sports, then you will make money in the long run. Patience and discipline are the key..I have lost before and will lose again. I make my money from betting big on matchups I believe in. Most win, some lose. That is life.
I could easily try chase with Argentina tonight and normally these games Argentina win 4-0 to rub it in! but I won't as my judgement is clouded after a loss. A few weeks later back again for more and hopefully back winning again.
I you keep tailing me guys for 100 bucks at a time. I promise you over the next few years I will make you money.
