That is beyond sick . 75% of world cup profit wiped out with one idiotic piece of defending with 2 minutes left in the game.

Just goes to show guys no bet is ever guarenteed and soccer is never a sport to invest too much in. I ran so well for 5 days and as I said, 1 silly goal with 2 minutes left costs me most of the good work done so far in this tourney.

Well Lesson learnt. I am on Brazil and Argetina pre tourney and will play low stakes from here on in with the remaining profit I have left. Just a sickening ending there..If that holds up then I am laughing all the way. Tough loss but that's gambling.

Tomorrow's plays, shit forgot about these. I could be in the loss column if Spain don't win!

I know brother, but I felt very good about the bet. I have made lot's of money from boxing since 1996, so this really isn't a big loss finacially for me. Sometimes you take a shot and it doesn't work out. Normally my bankroll management is top notch but I am not a flawless gamblers. I have invested too much in bets I shouldn't have and lost. This is another one.

2 woeful days for me has me 225 Bucks loss after being up 2k after the first 4 days...That Korean goal just ruined all momentum for me.

I will post the odd play here and there that I like (for all small stakes), but I am going to stick to my pre tourney picks with which my hopes of a good tourney will rest (I have 1k on both Argies and Brazil)..

Sorry guys for anyone who tailed me last 2 days. Just some brutal beats. After a blistering 4 day start, had a nightmare 2 days so going to refect (not chase) and look to bounce back in the Knockout stages..

Liked Argies -2 today and Nigeria to win. Didn't have one cent on it. So typical . Anyway tonight's game France v Mexico to me is a no Play. I just can't trust France and Mexico are not a bad team.

I might make a small play on the under 2.5 goals. France look to be solid at the back and not a great deal going forward. The winner of this game essentially is in the last 16, so with so much at stake I can't see an open game with lot's of goals. I think France would not be overly bothered with a draw as they would fancy beating South Africa last game and that result would take them through.

Vanzack is on fire lately and he fancies France. I just can't trust them myself so maybe another small play on Mexico +0.5.

Nice double hit last game gets me back to evens for the tourney,,

Tomorrow I Like Germany Straight up. I will ride the hot hand and Serbia looked bad against Ghana...

Upset special in game 2, I am going for Slovenia +300 to beat the US. History shows US always mess up games like this at previous tournaments. US are better team and deserve to be favourites here but I see Slovenia winning a 1-0 type of game. Playing the under and Slovenia +0.5 as well for evens.

Last game I see England struggling. Like England to win by exactly one goal @ +230 and England to win 2-1 @ +800

I agree with you on Germany and I dont see England dominating but they should win.

Alot of people are on Slovenia but the US must win this game.  I see strong effort from the Americans.

Ok, I have waited long enough. I except the public has been brutally pulverised (bar Vanzack!) this world cup and I may be about to join them tonight.

I had a big win on the boxing this weekend and tailed the V Man for the past 2 days getting back into postive figures for this world cup. I had planned to continue to follow the V Man or sit some of the games out as I have Brazil and Argentina Pre tourney and I was thinking that was enough.

However the books have put the bait out there tonight and I have bitten. Brazil are now trading just off evens...EVENS. Are they trapping me? Maybe so, but I cannot get away from that kind of value..

Let's look at the facts. Thus far the Samba Boys have not shown the free-flowing football we have come to expect from the Brazilians, but nevertheless they will have been happy enough with their opening 2-1 success over North Korea.

The Koreans, ranked 105th in the world, kept Brazil at bay for 55 minutes until Maicon's cross-come-shot swerved in at the near post and the three points were assured as Robinho laid on a second goal for former Manchester City team-mate Elano, although Ji Yun-nam gave them a late scare by halving the deficit and costing me €1600 quid!.

Yet there were signs of that flair and skill that have lit up so many tournaments in the past, even though this particular squad may be some way behind those all-conquering stars of the 1970s and 80s (and even 1994, 2002).

Ivory Coast claimed a hard-fought point against Portugal, although they did ride their luck when Cristiano Ronaldo struck the woodwork.

The fact Didier Drogba was able to come off the bench, albeit with a protective cast on his broken arm, was a huge boost for the Ivorians and the Chelsea striker could prove to be a huge threat to a Brazil defence that looks far from comfortable under pressure.

But even with Drogba, I feel Ivory Coast will be vulnerable at the back and the stage could be set for the unpredictable Brazilian forwards to announce themselves at this year's tournament.

I can't get away from nearly evens on the Brazilians. I always said if you can't afford it don't gamble. I am very fortunate that I can afford to take such a gamble.. After this world cup no bet is ever sure and Vanzack who has been on fire is on Ivory Coast +1. I had a strong feeling Brazlian v North Korea (-2) but I hold my hand up and say I got it wrong. I might get this wrong too, but I am making my biggest soccer play ever today...
