Heat warning here today, feels like on 40. Get done work, home, eat, head over local store I love, stop at gas station beside it for fuel and lottery tickets. Leave and there are two options to leave parking lot. I take the one closest to next place I am heading. Another car goes to other one, car coming in lane we are both turning into. I could have went comfortably but not in hurry I will wait. Other car waits till last second and pulls out, into other lane real slow turn, stop light maybe 50 yards away, turns green and just sitting there, finally moves. Pulls into store I am going to and has to back up like 5 times to pull into parking spot. Guy I have know for 30 years runs it, he is there and say”I don’t want to narc on anyone but either she is impaired or in distress. Women checks out at front and passes out 5 steps outside of building.
We should stop eating bananas.

I texted Buddy and he said retired nurse, definitely heat related, she had to be in her mid 70’s. I started walking over to her vehicle after I parked mine as far away as I could and was going to ask if anything was wrong but I didn’t. Not sure that is great, at least she didn’t pass out on road.

I'm telling you...as a 32yo, Idk how my parents' generation made it. No anxiety to address, actually went to work 5-7 days per week, etc. My dad tells stories of how as kids, one brother would stop a car and ask if they had a newspaper or something along those lines. The other boys would sneak up behind the car, duck behind the rear window, hold onto the back bumper and hitch for miles when the roads were covered with snow and ice
