The stories he has, fact he is alive is astonishing. Grew up on Wolfe Island, like 25 minute ferry ride to mainland. “Yeah we used to ride the horses over the ice to get to Kingston.”

I'm telling you...as a 32yo, Idk how my parents' generation made it. No anxiety to address, actually went to work 5-7 days per week, etc. My dad tells stories of how as kids, one brother would stop a car and ask if they had a newspaper or something along those lines. The other boys would sneak up behind the car, duck behind the rear window, hold onto the back bumper and hitch for miles when the roads were covered with snow and ice
