 I agree that this World Cup being expanded there are a lot of situational aspects that in my eyes have the makings of thrashings (take Spain for example) but as you mentioned you still have those little darling countries who probably know there’s a slim chance but just getting a draw or holding a top tier team goalless is the belief to give to that country (Cape Verde and Curaçao come to mind) 

 

however at the end of the day, as you just mentioned it’s still the World Cup and anything goes. Doesn’t mean that this team or that team sucks.

I can't wait for the R32/R16 etc... when these Bozos start crying about the 3-way loss but the team advanced, "I was cheated by the Sportsbook!" posts. Those always make me laugh.

I think it's important to note that a unit may represent a different dollar value for each person. Also, a winning record doesn't necessarily mean a profitable one, just as a losing record doesn't automatically mean a non-profitable one.

I feel like I've noticed a pattern around the water breaks

If there are no goals before 1st they get one after break and if there is one before 1st, they blank out the half

This held true in every 1H yesterday, 2 of 4 day prior, and 3 of 4 day before that if not mistaken
