Only reason I haven't been able to post as regularly this week is because I have a huge development project that I was on-site for. Believe me when I say, "on-site" means in a car surrounded by desert rocks and gravel. So not exactly the best place to handicap and post plays.
The games earlier were successful for me personally as I fired some darts last night. I generally don't like to post games until the lineups are out but there are a few upcoming that I'm on and so I thought I'd put it up against a real "stress test" .
BORUSSIA DORTMUND FH (-150)...BIG PLAY!!!: I have hit this hard even though it's juiced heavily. I got it at -140 but Dortmund were killers last year in the first half and with a very strong side again, many of whom were on the squad last year, I think they will be more than motivated in their home debut. I would have opted for a play on the spread and circumventing the juice but I'm not sure they will get 2 in the FH...though I'm sure now that I put that into the universe they will
TOTTENHAM (+120):. I just have to jump on this because the Spurs have been dreadful the past couple of years at HOME of all places, and that has sunk them in league play. I think that Roberto de Zerbi, their manager, realizes this and already you can see a turnaround in their home fortunes. Newcastle are a mess, and this would have been a big play if they didn't actually play Tottenham tough the past couple of years in London. The line seems a bit too good to be true but the value overrides that and makes it a play.
That's all I'm going to play for the rest of the day. I had some real interest in Juventus but their line is silly and Lyon just had a huge bench clearing brawl at the end of their game mid-week that might carry over into todays game, or at least the first half. Otherwise they should beat Le Havre at home.
As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
