Of COURSE I don't play my pick of the week but tried to get cute with the Tottenham game.

92-85-7  -4.5 units. overall

Just going to get my EPL picks in early so I can enjoy NYE in peace.

Chelsea/Stoke City parlay to win.  +120.  Two home teams should come through against inferior opponents.  Hopefully Chelsea cant screw me 3 times in a row and that the holiday draw fest is over.  1 unit.

Tottenham -120.  1 unit.  Tougher challenge at Swansea but another win puts them within 4 points of the top.

Lets try to break that.  Man City +100 over Liverpool.  1 unit.

Definitely learned over the holidays that even if playing....the EPL players are on holiday.  Ugh.

League plays:

Udinese -220.  1 unit.  Dangerous with the high juice but I fail to see how Cesena scores on a tough D on the road.

Udinese under 2.5 -120.  2 units.  For that same reason, I dont see how we get three goals here.  Cesena usually plays them tight, only letting 3 of 19 matches go over that mark, even against quality opponents.

Palermo +200.  The past four years when these teams have met, Palermo has won at home 2-1.  Why buck tradition?  1 unit.

Palermo over 2.5 +110.  1 unit.  Napoli has been putting up the points and again, in Palermo these seem to be high scoring affairs.

Granada +3.5.  -150.  I get that Real is destroying teams but at some point, they will face a stout defense that will keep the game close (3 goals is close with these guys).  I think this is that game.  1 unit.

Malaga +120.  2 units.  Malaga is a very capable team at home and Atletico has been terrible on the road and against good teams in particular.  I think there is value based on Atletico's name recognition.

Tottenham under 2.5. -120. I think they keep it a low scoring affair. Its a make-up game and both teams play again in a few days. I expect both to mail it in. 1 unit

Adding Montpelier over 2.5 1 unit. +130. League leading scorer in Giroud has been good for almost a goal a game the past few. Lyon hits the 3 mark often on the road. Seems to be good value as well.

Swansea City under 2.5. -110. 1 unit. I think Swansea's D can keep it tight, possibly pull off the draw.

PSG -150. 1 unit. I'll take PSG in their 2012 opener. They own Toulouse having won 4 straight.

Tottenham under 3 +120.  1 unit.  Probably will get a tie but hoping Tottenham will cruise after the win against Everton.

Bordeaux under 2.5 -190. 1 unit.  Ill be surprised to see any firepower come out of this game.

Need a good win streak ASAP.

Barca/Real over 2.5 -130.  1 unit.  This seems to good to be true...so it probably is.

Schalke +100.  3 units.  At home they should be deadly and they already beat Stuttgart on the road 3-0 this year.

FC Koln over 2.5 -140.  On the road Koln gives up goals like no other.  1 unit.

AZ Alkmaar +150.  1 unit.  I like Alkmaar at home, probably in a low scoring game.

Man City. -110.  I fully expect the Spurs to be overwhelmed here even if they keep it closer than 5-1 like last time.  1 unit.

Tottenham over 2.5. -120  2-1 the likely result.  1 unit.

Swansea City under 2.5. -140  1 unit.  Lets try that again.  Michel Vorm is a great goalie.

Udinese -150.  1 unit.  I know the last game got away from them but I see a return to form.

Inter under 2.5 -140.  1 unit.  Another team coming on extremely strong is Inter.  I see a hard fought game with Lazio with both teams playing tight.

Levante - 120.  1 unit.  Should be an easy win for Levante at home.  Zaragoza is worst in the league and Levante is 4th in La Liga.

Schalke +100.  1 unit. Schalke pounded Koln 5-1 earlier this year at home.  Will no doubt be tighter but I like them to keep rolling.

Palermo -200.  1 unit.  High juice but at home against the worst team in the league.  Should be a gimme.

Levante +140. 1 unit.  Hopefully Levante can come through with a win for me here.  They are due.  

Juventus under -140.  1 unit.  Looking for them and Udinese to play tight.

AC Milan/Lazio under 2.5 -140.  1 unit.  1-0 for the home team.

Schalke -160  1 unit.  Taking Schalke till the wheels come off

Wolfsburg -130.  1 unit.  Should be an easy win against worst team in the Bundesliga.

Benefica over 2.  -140.  1 unit.  I expect a push but hoping the Russians will punish the Portuguese in wintertime. 

Zenit.  +150.  1 unit.  Same theory.

Lyon under 2.5 -120. 2 units. That 7-1 joke of a last game is giving value here. No way this gets to 3.

Bayer Leverkusen +1.5 -120. 2 units. Barca seems content in Copa del Rey to play conservative on the road then smash at home. See no difference here.

Rubin +100. 1 unit. Going with the cold ass Russia theory here as well.

Lokomotiv over 2.5. -110. 1 unit. Bilbao and Lokomotiv can score in bunches.

Anderlecht. +300. 1 unit. I fail to see why Anderlecht doesnt continue to steamroller here. Just destroyed the group stage.

Anderlecht over 2.5 -120. 3 units. Looking for at least 3 goals. AZ has been on a scoring tear lately and Anderlecht destroyed group stage Europa.

Schalke +110. 1 unit. Love the chances of Schalke to pull out this road win.

Schalke over 2.5. +100. 1 unit. And with some fireworks from Huntelaar.

Man City +150. 1 unit. Lots of value for a Man City team thats leading the EPL.

PSV Eindhoven +170. 1 unit. Trabzonspor could be spoiler but love the value for the group C winner.

Udinese over 2 -150. 1 unit. PAOK could upset but I do know Udinese has been giving up goals lately.
