It is plain and simple, when the "best" team in the world cup can not even get a shot on goal in a whole half against the worst ranked team it makes me go into a comma

You guys haven't the slightest clue what you're talking about.  Teams like N Korea have no chance to win outright vs. teams like Brazil, so they keep all of their player back and play tough defense and play for the draw.  Soccer isn't a sport for the simple minded and you guys just don't get it.

youre obviously not doing anything right if you don't score..... i can handle some games where there is no scoring but every game is the same way

This sport is a joke.  Dedicate two hours of my time to watch a game end in a 0-0 tie.  90+ minutes when really you can pack everything meaningful in the game into about 5 minutes.  Then you have the clock, which doesn't stop, so they add on time at the end.  Here's the thing, WHO THE HELL KNOWS HOW MUCH TIME GETS ADDED ON?  Players?  Fans?  Nope.  It just ends when you hear the whistle.  No to mention these annoying vuvuzelas, that make me feel like I'm being swarmed by bees in my own home.  Then they decide to introduce a new ball for the most important event in their sport.  Smart.

Simple minded?  I'm sorry, but it doesn't take a sophisticated person to watch paint dry.

    In my Herm Edwards voice.....

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.  YOU DON'T JUST PLAY IT TO PLAY.  YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.  To play for a draw...tha tha tha......tha tha that.......

Even the fact that you can draw is ridiculous.

No one put a gun to your head to bet this sport. If you don't like the sport turn it off.  Soccer doesn't need people like you, it's already the best sport in the world whether you like it or not.

Well I tried to give it a chance.  But any sport that has the majority of its games end it a 0-0 tie is not the best sport in the world.  You are mistaken for the most POPULAR sport in the world.  Mostly because of these dirt poor third world countries that cant invest in multiple sports, so they go with what is cheap.

Correct. Soccer's worldwide popularity is directly related to the inexpensive simplicity of playing the sport. A ball, an open field, and a couple of twigs for uprights, and let the game begin.

13 games, 20 goals....it's not 0, but if you enjoy that, then you sir are an idiot.

Oh and by the way, 4 of those goals (20 percent) came by 1 team.

    Yawn.
