Apparently there’s a chip in the ball that detects if it hits a player? That’s what the commentators say, but I didn’t know it can detect it hitting a piece of hair an_roll_laugh 

 

This is where I don’t understand soccer though. What would make it onside when the player who scored was clearly offsides.

They say the ball as a sensor in it when it is touched so at least tech dead on.
