in the 70's, 80's and to mid 90's NYC was very dicey - was rough going out to certain areas. Nowadays NYC is like Disneyland.

I hate it.

I miss the grit, 8th ave, times square, lower east side  bowrey. Now even Harlem is gentrified. Guiliani started cleaning it up and now its just too sterile.

Maybe tourists are nervous going out.

And nowadays there's cameras everywhere. So every crime has a good video that all compete to make the cut on the nightly news.

That's when I stopped beating old ladies in brownstone foyers and switched to an office job

Side note, since we’re sitting this one out, for anyone here on Kalshi…Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding was tonight. On Kalshi, Jason Kelce being a Groomsman had odds of mid .70s if you said YES for him.

Now apparently, they didn’t have a traditional wedding party but Taylor had her brother as the Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. How do you think Kalshi will pay out based on this ambiguity?

 We all know you've never made a mistake by your soccer record. 

If you live in NYC then I would say you probably know too how sickeningly sterile and gentrified it is. 

I work at 140 Broadway and 4 days a week I'm there at bars, after work, restaurants and sometimes I sleep in Carroll Gardens.

Where do you live and where do you go if and when you're in NYC?

I stay away from tourists and all the tourist spots, especially in Colombia.

 So NYC has no unpredictability at all for safety? I find that unbelievable. I have no interest going there as I read nothing but horrible things. I live in Illinois and stay far away from St. Louis and Chicago. Guess you get my drift. 

The tourist spots in Colombia, especially Medellin, are dangerous because tourists are targets in Colombia.

Tourist spots in NYC are like being in a church in Disneyland.

So that's probably why tourists are not afraid to go out at night. And a lot if them are drunk. I steer clear

 I don't blame you. Guess a resemblance to Disneyland adds more credence to my decision to avoid that place. That will make you happy = one less tourist.

 Of course you won't believe me, but I'm up $700 so far in soccer (small player). Just asking BC an honest question and the New Yorkers treat me like sheet. Guess what I read is true.

 Read my last post. I'm doing fine thank you. I rarely post plays and am here to learn. Thanks for answering my question in a New York way. That's all I wanted then the NYC mafia shows up to needle me.

year in a city of 8 million in a year. Crime overall was down. Just like any

big city things will always happen nit as far as things go its not bad.
