Thank you. I took him anytime scorer. I did not post it although it put an extra 100$ in my pocket!

It’s amazing just how on point Vegas is with these odds. Yamal over .5 SOT at the start of the game was relatively low compared to that of Mbappe, and it didn’t take long for it to change to +odds during LIVE action. Given the stardom, given his increased strength and historical performance during the WC coming off his injury, and given the importance of this game against what felt like a high performing France offense, you’d think those were juicy odds to bite on, but NOT. SO. FAST.
Whatever Vegas/Books gave away during England/Norway they made back and then some on this France v Spain match.

Books been cleaning up on the most recent games. Underdogs covering a majority of the spreads with today being the one where the underdog finally takes the ML.
Favorites have been advancing mostly but tons of juice with most people not taking that straight up, but parlaying it with other legs where probably at least 1 loses.
And then the star players not getting any of the goals, let alone shots on goal. Like with Haaland due to Sorloth refusing to pass the ball in the Norway game. Mbappe 3 shots, all off target, Yamal not even getting 1 shot on goal.

General question…For the Bronze medal game, considering that these are the 4 best teams in the world, all of which have already large, well known programs, do teams usually experience WC hangover after not making it to the final game and do the coaches usually sub star players early so they can return to their clubs without risk of injury? I know for the smaller countries, they would still come out firing on all cylinders, but isn’t it different for the much more established and larger country teams?

@TRAIN69
No they did not, it almost looks like they did not give a Fak. That is why I was not backing them to win or advance yet I still got taken to the cleaners with shots that NO TEAM TOOK. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and move on.
@chixdinna
Historically the 3rd place game has more of an open feel to the game. It favours the over in goals, gives players that have not featured like old vets a chance to get on the field. In this case it might determine the golden boot winner. I would wait until squad selection to play props but the total usually trends over 2.5.

ENGLAND v ARGENTINA
150. England to advance @ 1.81/-123 (2u) Pinnacle
151. Harry Kane OVER 1.5 shots on target @ 2.00/+100 (1u) Bet365
152. MacAlister Over 2.5 tackles + Anderson Over 1.5 tackles (SGP) @ 2.00/+100 (1u) Bet365
Lean
Red Card in Match YES @ 5.00/+400 Bet365
I don't want to keep repeating myself but once again the quality of opposition that Argentina has played has been poor, yet they struggled to get results. The first time they faced a decent team in Switzerland they needed a sending off to help them advance. Harry Kane has had 2 or more shots on target in 4 of his past 6 games. Since most dead ball opportunities go through him including penalties I'm backing him to get 2 or more again. This is a rivalry make no doubt about it and I believe it will show in play with more tackles then usual and maybe even a red card or two. Alexis Mac Allister for Argentina has hit 3 or more tackles in 5/7 games. Elliot Anderson has hit 2 or more in all his past 5 games so I combined them both in a parlay as I expect a physical match.
