France are worthy faves, they have the best squad, form and winning mentality, the 5/1 on them has gone, if they play to their potential and have the necessary modicum of luck, they will be Euro champs.

Dont get too hot and bothered by the draw, there will be shocks and the cream always rises to the top regardless of 1st or 2nd (or 3rd) position in the group.

Its always fashionable to give a dark horse prediction, denmark should go well in the 25-30/1 range. They were rank outsiders winning in 1992, Greece won at 100/1 in 2004 and Portugal were unfancied last time, I just realized that 12 year cycle there so maybe the fav will win this time.

I'll look at golden boot, other bets next

Boll, some really good points you made in there.
Group B: playing in domestic leagues? for the WC it is one of the very first things we look at when seeking darkhorses/longshots. not so much with Euros. Martinez to Ganda is like Oliver to me, dont get him started, we'll be here all night.

Group C: i think Ukranians can pull off a suprise. Austrians a hit & miss, wait n see with them.

Group D: youre probably not going to like my 1st round plays theen(laughing). buddy thinks Foden could have a breakout now that hes released from the shadows of having to play behind Kevin all year (nothing negative abt that comment either); its OK to thump your chest, your lads set for another deep run. that Scottish writeup must have caused cramping in the fingers ehh??

Group E: our melons line up with Slovaks. dont know where to put Poland and Spain needs a result in their opener to help keep everyone calm. i dont like whats going on over there, and they are young.

Group F: as an Azzuri fan, all i can say about France is Im glad they are going to be someone elses problem come KO's.

It's somewhat result based. Not saying the Fifa ranking is a true reflection of a team's depth or whatever, but if France wanted to be ranked nr 1 they should have won a bit more matches. 

Big prices on top goalscorer, player of the tournament but to be honest, its a minefield, so much quality and too few matches, I prefer bets like that over the course of a season or at least 10 games.

Group with least goals is worth a play - you want a group which is evenly matched, no toilet teams with the favorite team not free scoring, for me its a toss up between group A and E, Italians and swiss generally play conservative so they edge that bet for me.

Group with most goals  - has to be group of death for me, lot of attacking talent in the 3 top teams, you could say they'll be playing conservative against each other but I think after the 1st game, they'll be pushing forward and mauling poor hungary.

Bollox-great stuff--agree with France--i took 11/8 to take Group F--still decent odds in my opinion. I like the group for highest scoring also...good luck in the Tourney!

Boll, decided to jump in here first. put aside some time tonight, reply and post final thoughts; not sure if will be around much next week. firstly, nah, thats not what I meant, tho this will probably be my own last.   was speaking in regards to you getting to play Scots in euros. might not happen again in your lifetime so best to get it all out of your system. Lions will always be around, cant say the same for them. (im a terrible 'salesman'  ehh?) 

let me clutter up your thread, (i know you dont mind anyways) besides, need to level things as just noticed mine takes a wee-bit of time to read. need to get over there and organize it.  

regarding your group scoring props:

*** one of the biggest discussions/topics over past few weeks: the format change + how it might affect things.
1) OBVIOUSLY, the big one is being - unlike previous euros where Group stage matches were in various cities within a country (when there were dual hosts? all the same), a few of these behemoths getting to play in the cozy confines of "home". and for me, I honestly dont know what to expect from your lads, ours, Germans, Spain, Danes. big boys arent used to playing at home unless theyre hosting. and speaking of that Boll, everyones jaw-dropping over Les Bleus firepower (raising my hand, im one of them). but nobody seems to remember that 2 years ago when they won WC, they only banged in 3 in group stages.
the 2nd part of this 2) is the fact that theres basically 4 teams whom are weak (by euro standards), and two which i personally think shouldnt even belong in here. so my tourney Under total might get blown into the English Channel. for the very reasons you mentioned, big boys over there in 'F' might elect to play the goal differnce game.

one last thing tho..... which we have in our back pockets Boll, for a 'safety net'. those 3rd matches and coaches playing the situation. biggest reason these unders have hit for soo long of a time. remember France few years back? won their first two and just needed a point to secure top place. ended up a scoreless draw with Switz in that 3rd game. everyone from here to kindgdom come b*tching and moaning about how they couldnt score and blah blah.... they didnt need to. France, Germany, Belgium and your lads back in '16 - a total combined 2 goals in their 3rd matches. all clinched their desired positioning to advance; nothing more. nothing less. no need to put on a show, but the media always gets carried away "whats wrong with...?"

so its going to be interesting of how this unfolds this year while in front of their own fans this time.

Ganda, spot on with FIFA.   BS rankings. dont take into account the starting lineups, where they played.  or even the motivation. just the results and opponents "perceived" strength (hence, my total disregard towards that UNL cr*p).

spec  yeh the multi country thing is a first, no-one knows how this will work but i like the idea, and I like the most goals/least goals bets as you get meaty prices even though a dead heat is likely.

oh and to people betting short prices on top team goalscorer, be careful, said team could be gone after 3/4 matches whilst the full back scores twice, small sample sizes begets freak results.

Group A had Italy in  a parlay 

Group Belgium Denmark Dual 

Group C - no bet apart from N.Macedonia finishing bottom, that was parlayed but wont count that here

Group D - England Croatia 1-2 

Group E -  was counting my money on slovakia advancing after their first game but then folded like a cheap suit 

Group F - Frogs  and also said Portugal would finish 3rd and qualify !

Lowest scoring group - group A 

Highest scoring group Group F , a whopping 40 goals.

Outright picks France and Denmark to win are still alive, french havent impressed as they should have but you dont win anything in June, both should advance into the QF's, tourney has already exceeded expectations for me!

Boll, GL .  may the soccer gods be with you     wednesday was fun, was leading both those Group props, then "F" decided to go off and even put the tourney prop at serious risk.   might not be around so good luck with your lads in advance. 

Bollox-spot on Group F-agree you don't win titles in June and France was a solid pick to win the group despite 2 draws..Belgium was a good cruise as group winner; damn Sweden had to play spoiler in stoppage time for my Spain group winner-lol! Good job and good luck in the knockout round!
