2026-27 EREDIVISIE PICKS

The season started yesterday, not much caught my eye until Sunday.

SUN AUG 9th

1. Feyenoord ML @ 1.70/-143 (1u) Bet365

The early kickoff of the Rotterdam derby that I believe still holds value despite the juice. Feyenoord have dominated the derby 7W 2D 1L in the last 10. Last season at the Het Kasteel they won 4-0. There is a clear contrast of form here as Sparta are winless in their past 4 matches where as Feyenoord have won 6 straight and have not lost a match since March 1. Sparta have also lost Tobias Lauritsen to Sampdoria. The key striker had hit double figures in goals in each of his last 4 seasons. If the juice is too much you can tie it in with a team total over 1.5 + the ML for Feyenoord. I'm just keeping it simple and backing the better team.

FRI AUG 14th

2. Telstar/Sparta Rotterdam OVER 10.5 total corners @ 1.98/-102 (1u) Pinnacle

A numbers play for me in this match. Last season Telstar's matches averaged 11 corners per game and Sparta averaged 11.2. In the two head to head matches last season the corner total was 11 nd 13. In the opening weekend Telstar's game produced 16 total combined corners and Sparta's opening fixture produced 15. My corner line was at 11.5 at evens so worth a shot here on Friday.

3. Willem II +1 @ 1.87/-115 (1u) Pinnacle

I always like to back newly promoted sides at home right at the start to the season. The season prior to the last Willem tied NEC 1-1 and beat them 4-1. We also have a situational "let down spot" here as NEC played mid week in Europe and knocked out Olympiakos. NEC now will face Bodo of Norway this upcoming Wednesday in the final round of champions league qualification. I expect them to rest a player or 2 and most important not have anyone injured in this match.

SUN AUG 16th 

4. Twente/Zwolle UNDER 10.5 total corners @ 1.93/-107 (1u) Pinnacle

Another numbers play for me in this match. Last season Twente's matches averaged 9.5 corners per game and Zwolle averaged 9.7. In the two head to head matches last season the corner total was 9 and 6. In the opening weekend Twente managed to win only 4 corners and Zwolle only managed to win 2.

5. Heerenveen ML + Jacob Trenskow Over 0.5 shots on target (SGP) @ 1.75/-133 (1u) Bet365

I did not want to play the -1 AH spread for fear of the push. Zwolle away from home have lost 5 straight and are winless in their past 14 away games. Heerenveen at home are undefeated in their last 11 matches. Last season Heerenveen won the series 4-2 and 4-1. I'm tying this to the home sides best player who has already had 4 shots on target in the past 2 games and scored in his last game versus Ajax.

SUN AUG 23rd 

6. PSV/Groningen Total Corners OVER 10.5 @ 1.90/-111 (1u) Bet365

PSV's matches last season yielded the most corners per game at 11.5. Groningen had the 3rd most averaging 11. Their last head to head meeting resulted in 17 total corners. My line is at 11.5.

FRI AUG 28th  

7. Fortuna Sittard +1 @ 1.95/-105 (1u) Pinnacle

I like this bet largely based on the head to head record. In the last 8 games between these sides Sittard wins 5, ties once and loses 2 times by 1 goal. I also like the fact that Groningen have injuries in defense missing CB Malcolm Jeng, RB Marco Rente and RB Tyrique Mercera. An extra day of prep is always a nice thing as well for Fortuna Sittard.

H2H are the most relevent stat. even when personnel changes. some teams just bad juju against particular ops

8. Go Ahead Eagles ML @ 2.33/+133  (1u) Pinnacle

The eagles head to head wise are unbeaten versus Groningen in their past 5 games with 2 wins and 3 draws. Form wise the eagles have won 5 of 6 at home and Groningen have lost 4 of their past 6 away. I think plus money here is value, however for the weary you can also take the draw no bet or PK also known as 0 on the Asian handicap.

SUN SEP 13th  

9. Excelsior Rotterdam ML @ 2.24/+124  (1u) Pinnacle

The home side have only lost 1 match in their past 15. Utrecht are winless in their last 6. The clash of form added to the fact that the last match in Rotterdam was a 5-0 beat down makes no sense to me odds wise. I think any plus money price on the home side equalls value.
