rostos -- i was doing some research for school on different tests used for steroid testing...
basically what it comes down to is the scientists analytical skills to test the said urine sample.
athletes in those days were able to eat or drink certain substances that would cause the results to be skewed.
as the scientists developed better methods of testing, the athletes would still think their previous methods would work -- the more efficient testing would find more positives.
the journal article i read mentioned lance armstrong, on how there was massive suspicion of him using...but he was never caught.
but
everyone in cycling uses, so what difference does it make?

CL, i am merely looking at the cover ups by officials, the lies, the ability to cheat without getting caught etc etc.
My OP was designed to show that corruption is rife in sports, where money is involved, greed, lust and power are behind it.
