New season just around the corner

Few markets from Sportingplod to think about

This year will be different in a big way to the previous 3 years. Important factor is back to the old rules, no short arms to try and quicken the game, so expecting teams with strong lineouts, big boot 10s and good defense to end at the top side of the log.


Possible teams that fit that scenario IMO

Chiefs(think reverting to the old laws will hurt them more than any other team)

Stormers to make top 4 @3.00
Waratahs as top Aussie team @2.85

Agree Rod was looking at Chiefs under 7.5 season wins but after seeing there schedule that bet looked to close to call so decided to go with the Blues over the Chiefs head to head.

Blues have 3 relatively easy games left,im hoping they win all 3 and secure over 7.5 season wins,currently 5-5


Blues are headcases though so not screaming with confidence there

You may even jag that Stormers top Saffer team with a bit of luck as well

Stormers are almost unbeatable at home so i think they will beat the Bulls in the last round at home


Hopefully Sharks can somehow fluke a win tonight over the Bulls
